Help with broken screen - reset via adb command topic

Hi all,
I have a broken Kindle that has a crack screen (bad digitizer?) and no screen, but kindle still power on (still connects to pc). I am hoping to sell it for parts but needs to format data before selling. I am hoping if there's any tips or suggesting on factory resetting via adb?
