[Q] CQATest and Commserver program, and phone won't charge? topic

Hi

We have a Moto G (XT1032) phone that we recenlty flashed to the GPE 4.4.2 image. We then did an OTA upgrade first to 4.4.4, then to 5.0.1.

However, I noticed that there's a strange background running program that I don't recognise - CommServer:



If I click it, I get:



There's also a new process in applications, CQTest.

Another thing - the phone is plugged in, and the battery icon appears to show charging:



However, the actual battery itself doesn't charge (the battery percentage doesn't go up, and it drains quickly). Also, if you go to the phone status:

The battery status is "not charging" (even though the charging icon is there).

Any thoughts as to what the CommServer/CQATest program is, or why the phone does not appear to be charging?
