[Q] USB drivers for Nexus? topic

Since rooting the Nexus 4 my laptop has completely stopped recognising Nexus phones, while I can still connect samsung phones, it won't recognise a Nexus 4 or 6, it used to work but not any more.
A google search turned up nothing, any help? Thanks

Windows 8.1, Surface Pro.
