[Q] Noob Question about rooting topic

if i root my M8 and i install Xposed framwork. when my m8 gets the lollipop update can i just uninstall xposed (or disable it) and then disable root through supersu will i be okay to recieve the lollipop update? (for a side note i do know xposed will not work in lollipop once it is released for the m8)
