After flashing android L custom rom, I started to notice the virtual floating menu button as in the attached image, is there anyone know why it appeared and how to disable it?

Is there a 5.1 Stock ROM that has su/root built in floating around here somewhere? topic
Surprised i have not seen this already...
Would make the entire updating process easy for many of us if a dev would be so kind. :) Instead of unrooting - updating - rerooting again.
