No push notifications from Facebook topic

Hello guys,
I have got a weird problem. Everytime I post photo or I am tagged in the photo my LG G2 doesn't send me a notification and it also doesn't pop up on the notification bar. It also doesn't display on the facebook icon as an unread notification.
Also the same thing happens when someone add something new into the group.
Does someone face a same problem? Any advice how to solve it?

Hi Sir,
I am a java developer currently working on a android notification project. I am having a problem with what to keep as a unique key for my (3rd party) database after registering to GCM.
The registeration Id which GCM provides on registering the android device, often changes when we re-install the app. In order to avoid duplicacy in 3rd party database, what should we use as unique key in the database, so that using this field I can update the old registration Id with new registration Id whenever app is reinstalled.

[Q] Push notifications other than GCM topic

Hi All,

This question is to Android application developers.

We have integrated GCM for push notification in our Android app. However, when a user force closes / kills the app, the user no longer gets notifications unless he / she opens the app again.

However, I have seen many other apps still delivering notifications even when app is killed / force closed.

Can you recommend any other push notification service which works even when app is killed / force closed?

[Q] Email push notifications topic

Hi,

Just got a galaxy tablet but I'm not receiving notifications when I get an email like I do with my Xperia Z3.

When I receive an email I am instantly notified, like you are with an SMS, with my Z3. I am using the Email application that came with the tablet. Any ideas?

[B]CM11[/B] No push notifications and GPS doesn't work topic

No push notifications on all apps. I don't know how to fix it :(

about GPS, can't find my location. i tried flashing GPS V5 by Mardon (editing build.prop to enable agps) and tried to edit the gps.conf still doesn't work. I need some help please!!!
