Lost all application data topic

I want to start by saying that i've wiped my phone about 30 times, usually when wiping data the data gets wiped but app data gets saved.
I own a LG G2 with TWRP 2.8.0.1
Yesterday wiping data removed everything, including all my progress in many games, etc..
Is there any way to recover my app data?

Best Android Podcasting Application? topic

Coming back to Android, from an iPhone using the stock iTunes podcasting app, I've been sorely disappointed in the Android podcasting experience. If Apple does one thing well it's podcasting and it feels like magic. I've got about 15-20 feeds I regularly listen to.

Do you guys have a pick for the best pocasting application on Android? Is that particular application open source and available on F-Droid?

Application Behavior When Running In Background topic

Ok here's the situation:
When i drive i use the Tomtom Go mobile app as "main" sat-nav.
Then i use camsam plus which runs in the background and, with a small widget, warns me of speedcameras.
I also wanted to use the icoyote app at the same time but there's a problem: the app stays in the background when there are no speedcameras ahead (which is fine) but when i'm approaching one it will "take over" the screen to warn me (so it's a visual and audible warning).
I was wondering if there's a way (there's none in the app settings) to keep the app in the background while approaching a speedcamera and leave the tomtom on screen (with only the speedcamera audible warning enabled).
I was also wondering if there's a way to keep waze in the background (the same way of the icoyote app) and keep the audible alerts (police, hazard ecc..) working.
Thanks in advance

How do I freeze the OTA application so I don't have the notification? topic

I'm on rooted 5.0 and got the 5.0.1 OTA notification. I'm planning to run Cyanogen once it becomes official and don't want to bother wiping data, flashing the stock recovery, etc.

What do I freeze in Titanium to stop the update notification? I searched but couldn't find an answer. Thanks in advance!

[Q] Grails is the best for rapid web application development, isn't it? topic

The two reasons why you should choose Grails are :
- Rapid web development: It can help us achieve productivity benefits similar to Rails or Django but without leaving JVM and Java knowledge.
- Powered by proven technologies: Grails underneath uses Spring and Hibernate to power web applications. It can be considered as syntactic sugar over these technologies.

[Q] 10 reasons why your event needs an application! topic

Many event organizers are thinking about mobile applications. This can be called a trend thus growing number of people, especially in the business environment, use smartphones and printed brochures are losing their popularity .
As a company with a huge experience in this area we can name you at least 10 reasons why you should provide an event application for your attendees:

1. All in one device. An interactive materials format is the thing attendees always expect from you. Let them easily access an event schedule, view sessions and sponsors info.
2.Personal assistant. Maximize attendees' involvement before, during and after the event while creating their own agenda and reading about favorite speakers.
3.Extra plus for sponsors. Connect your sponsors to a very targeted audience and increase their interaction. Also, mobile app is a good way to share special offerings.
4. Map not to get lost. Insure delegates know all the venue details. Help your guests getting to the right place in time.
5. No paper trash and harm to nature. Making last minute changes in program is very tempting – with a mobile application it is easy. Care about nature - the app is more environmentally friendly.
6. Not dependent on the Internet. Do not want to be tied to the Internet? Native mobile app works efficiently in any case and no need to worry about the connection speed.
7. Simplified version of the website. Thinking about a small copy of your home page? Mobile app can contain all the information from the website and much more.
8. Prestige and modern. Information will be stored directly on your attendees' mobile devices allowing them to navigate, interact and engage with your affair effectively.
The event will be associated with doing something cool and progressive, while at the same time providing a useful service to participants.
9. Marketing tool. Attendees can download personalized application well in advance and share it with their colleagues and friends. Recommendations are the best advertisement for your affair.
10. Great for multiple events. For multiple and/or annual events this tool is a must-have.
Showcase your company logos, images and more to intended audience. Provide delegates with the info about next event in time.

With a growing number of people going mobile printed event guides becoming less desirable — creating a mobile app for the conference, event, forum or meeting is a necessity. Delegates expect nothing less. Giving them an engaging, easy-to-use tool will create a better experience and place your event well above the competition.
