[guide] Repair bootloop wrong recovery flash Huawei G750-u10 / honor 3-u10 topic

this tutorial, is for repairing the huawei g750-u10 in case you flashed the wrong recovery and now you're stuck in a bootloop.

First of all you will need (it's all in the link to download, make shure you have a sdcard on your phone before starting):
-Adb install setup
-Adb toolkit
-vcom drivers

mega.co.nz/#!gURHXDoZ!QNmv7LaK8r4WIQBGaUyoNho3TPX0YZp9jwHaEHg DmII

-Installation of the phone mediatek drivers:

-Start with installing th vcom drivers i provided on the rar file, type HDWWIZ on the windows search tab:

Install the hardware manually>Ports(com&lpt)>Have a disk>select the file wich corresponds to you windows>mediatekpreloader usb vcom port> restart your computer. (if this method doesn't work for you try to search for vcom driver installation tutorials)

-Installing adb

-double click on the adb-setup.exe file provided and install it including drivers.
-the adb tool kit doesn't need installation just run the Adb toolkit Gui

on adb toolkit, type the command fastboot continue as shown in the picture

s13.postimg.org/yuauaawpj/Untitled.jpg

Remove the battery from your mobile phone, wait 5s plug it in again and push the power button till it turns on but keep your finger in the VOLUME DOWN, it may reboot 2 times but then you will get the fastboot/repair mode image.

When you are in fastboot, connect your phone to the usb in the computer (the mediatek drivers will install wait for installation to complete).
Now return to the Adb GUI and press the execute command, it will appear something like and wait a few seconds then your phone will restart it self and boot normally.

You're allmost there:

-When your phone boots, select the usb connection to usb mass storage device.
-copy the recovery.img provided to the root of your sdcard, safely unplug the phone from your pc.
-download and install the mobile mtk uncle tools app from the playstore.
-turn off wifi and mobile data, start the app and give it root permission.
-press the recovery update, select the chinese character file that you copied to your sd before and proceed, VERY IMPORTANT when it asks if you want to reboot into recovery select NO.
- get out off the app and restart your device normally, it's all done you have your phone back. :D

this is my first tutorial on xda, hope it is easy to follow and i'm thankfull for any suggestions to improve it.

Sprint Galaxy Note 3Stuck in Bootloop topic

I got myself in a little over my head here and could use some help. I have a rooted (stock rom) note 3 that has been working great but I was frustrated with the inability to use it as a hot spot and after try a few non-invasive methods I found a method involving adding .bak onto the end of 2 files using root browser and adding 2 files in there place. Well, I did that and now my phone is stuck at the yellow sprint screen. I did not install a custom recovery on it.:crying:

Not a big deal if the data is wiped.... important stuff is already off the phone.... I just need it to work again.

here is what i've tried so far:

windows based root explorer to attempt to correct file naming (will not recognize phone on loop screen or in recovery mode)

odin 3.10 will recognize the phone on com3 when it's stuck on the boot screen but not in recovery mode

wipe/data factory reset

Installing factory ROM (from stockroms.net) via and got the following messages E: footer is wrong and E: signature verification failed

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Steve

[Q] bootloop topic

Hello everyone,

I´m using the s3mini i8190 and i´m in a bootloop. I read on other sites that i should go into download mode and use odin, problem: I can´t get into download mode (or recovery mode). The last thing i did was flashing GApps after i flashed an aosb rom without GApps. after that i think i flashed a bad zip(I wanted to flash titanium backup into the system), because it gave the error :

Code:

Flashing failed
E: Can't mount data
E: Can't mount system

after that i went into the advanced menu of twrp to manually mount data and system, which didn't work.

so, basically i'm stuck with a bootloop without being able to go into download mode.

I hope I've given enough information
Any suggestions?

[Q] LG G2 stuck in security error bootloop topic

It started out where i could only boot into fast boot and NOTHING else, but I found this tutorial where i would erase and replace all the image files and put the g2 in a sort of testing mode. So i did it and when i booted it up....it had the LG logo and the lg logo with a security error....This kept on going for a while until i did a factory hard reset and now it just does it once and then turns off. The only other thing i can seem to boot into is download mode because when i try the tot method it has this error saying CrossDL [D802] to [D800]. And so i try another method which required a kzd file, there are kzd files for everything but the d800, which is what i happened to have. I try for an hour looking for one with no luck. I try the LG mobile support tool but it goes through the first part and just gets stuck on the second part and doesn't even have a loading bar, it just says so not unplug USB. Im really getting frustrated and can find any way to make it work. PLEASE HELP!

[Q] Recovery Flash Failed, Stuck in Bootloop After Trying to Unbrick topic

My phone was running CM 11 M12 with TWRP 2.7.1.0 recovery. I used ROM Tools from JRummy to flash the TWRP 2.8.3.0 image, and it flashed successfully. I rebooted into recovery to verify, but my phone ended up stuck in download mode. I couldn't reboot to system or recovery, it kept coming back to download mode. I attempted to unbrick via ODIN by flashing an old 4.2.2 stock tar file (using Qbking77's "How to Unroot and Unbrick the Samsung Galaxy S4" YouTube video), but now it is stuck in a bootloop at the AT&T logo. When I try to reboot into recovery, the Samsung Custom screen appears, "recovery booting" appears on top, and the phone reboots again back to system and proceeds to get stuck at the AT&T logo once more. This has all has to be related with my recovery getting screwed up, but I have no idea how to fix that issue.

I really don't want to be without a working phone any longer than I need to, any help would be greatly appreciated.

[Q] Phone stuck in bootloop turning on and off by itself topic

I was having an issue with google music not playing any audio although other apps worked fine so I decided to restart my phone. When I did I got stuck in a bootloop, my phone turns on to the white htc screen then immediately shuts off. I'm unable to access my bootloader or recovery and my phone will randomly turn on to the white htc screen without any input from me and then proceed to turn off again. There is slight heat from my phone so I can assume even though the screen is shutting off the phone isn't off. At first I was able to use adb to access recovery and did a factory format from there but that failed to solve my problem and now I am able to get adb to recognize my phone is connected anymore. I'm running stock rom rooted with s-off. I would greatly appreciate any help on this matter.

[Q] HTC One x - fastboot bootloop, no system, no recovery, everyhing broken? topic

Hello,

I've recently bought an HTC one x. (The guy sold it told me only the screen is broken, now I'm starting to think it was broken because he throw the device to the wall...)

Here is the situation:
The phone is stuck in bootloop, it only boots to either the white htc screen, or into fastboot.
I've tryed flashing a custom recovery, but it won't boot into recovery, and when I try to boot there, I only get a black screen and no response (not even charging there).
I've tryed flashing new boot.img, it didn't help either.

I think the idiot tryed to flash a htc one x+ rom with everything, then panicked and erased everything.

I've tryed to flash a custom rom from fastboot, it says FAILED: remote not allowed.

I'm a little stuck here, can anyone please help me how to fix this? All I topics have found so far were not about this cid/version/modelid/anything.

Here are some other data about the phone (I've removed the imei number):
(bootloader) version: 0.5a
(bootloader) version-bootloader: 1.35.0000
(bootloader) version-baseband: 3.1204.168.32
(bootloader) version-cpld: None

(bootloader) version-main: 1.17.401.1
(bootloader) serialno: FA31HW102947
(bootloader) product: enrc2b_u
(bootloader) platform: HBOOT-T30S
(bootloader) modelid: PM3511000
(bootloader) cidnum: HTC__032
(bootloader) battery-status: good
(bootloader) battery-voltage: 3866mV
(bootloader) devpower: 63
(bootloader) partition-layout: None
(bootloader) security: on
(bootloader) build-mode: SHIP
(bootloader) boot-mode: FASTBOOT
(bootloader) commitno-bootloader: None
(bootloader) hbootpreupdate: 2
(bootloader) gencheckpt: 0

Please help, I'm really stuck here. :(

[Q] XT1092 in bootloop after update topic

So this is a bit of a comedy of errors on my part...
I took the OTA update to lollipop and (foolishly) followed the same method as on KK to get root, putting myself in a bootloop. I got myself out of it by clearing the userdata and the cache.
I went about sorting everything and achieved root using the chainfire method, that was fine and I then went about reinstalling the xposed modules I had before. Foolishly, I didn't double check the status of xposed on Lollipop and consequently put myself back in a bootloop (idiot). I redid what had worked earlier, clearing the userdata and the cache to no avail.
Obviously, the problem was not the same as before and I needed to disable xposed, but in clearing the userdata I not only removed the xposed_disable.zip file to do this and also turned off adb so I can't push it.
The bootloader is fine and I can use fastboot, but can't push anything across. I hadn't replaced the recovery but can boot into twrp. However, I cannot flash it because I cannot push it over using adb.

I can't work out exactly how far I need to go back/what exactly I need to flash in order to put this all back together again.

I would be very grateful for any help that people can give on this.

[Q] Bootloop and power button not working HELP!! topic

I was running unoffcial cm12 for my desire 816 a5dwg variant. My power button just got stuck inside and doesnt work so I had to send it for warranty and so I planned on making my desire 816 stock again. I used the windroid universal kit and relocked the bootloader using it and after that my phone is stuck in a bootloop and it boots to the hboot. I've tried pressing volume keys but before I do anything it switches off. It runs only for 20 seconds and then reboots again. I need to get the phone to stock as to make a claim for warranty. I know there are so many talented devs out there who would have superior knowledge and can help me fix this. Please help me. Thank you so much in advance :)

[Q] Installed TWRP on stock N5 and now in BOOTLOOP topic

Hi guys,

I have a stock Nexus 5 running 5.0.1.

I wanted to root, so I made the first step by unlocking and then right after flash TWRP

Looked like......
./fastboot oem unlock
./fastboot flash recovery TWRP.img (twrp.img is what i renamed the 8.2 version of TWRP)

Then i restarted and now it goes to google screen ---> TWRP screen for 5 sec ---> reboot ----> TEAMWIN logo BOOTLOOP. I get that Teamwin logo over, and over again.

Any help? All I did was install TWRP and I get this.

What I did to try and remedy, but to no avail is...... erase TWRP with ./fastboot erase recovery, then install the 8.1 version of it.

HELP!?

[Q] LG G2 bootloop stuck. I'm a noobie idiot who made starter mistakes, please Help! topic

Hi to anyone who will help. I've got a serious problem. I had just rooted my lg g2 using the stump method as its the newest OTA ZVE. I was following some easy steps in editing the built.prop file in /system. The xda thread I was using said to change the ro.product.brand to Samsung. That one uppercase letter bricked my phone. I don't know why he didn't put the right information or any warning down for using only lowercase, but I did it this way and found out later. Now the phone is bricked with looping unfortunately , the process com.android.systemui has stopped looping errors after loading into the first screen after Sprint. I didn't install cwm or anything so that's not an option, all I have is the recovery and download mode to try to edit or sub the right built.prop file. The question is how, because I tried using android studio and commands in the terminal for adb push, but it only allows one command which is adb sideload... Everything else for commands ends in error. I tried using the LG mobile support tool to flash the original rom, but when I click on update recovery it says no upgrade items to fix. What can I do now? Please help!
