Connection problems after ROM change topic

I recently updated my ROM from EchoeRom 4.4.2 to EchoeRom 5.0 on my Galaxy Note 3, and everything works flawlessly, except the connection to my Gear S.
When I try to connect, I get a message that I have to reset my Gear S to factory settings before I can connect. (See attached image)
Is it supposed to do this, or is there a way that I don't have to reset my Gear S to connect?

Any help would be much appreciated.

• Emergency partion for .zip to flash or backup --> 2gb

[Q] Any way to change APN while using the Verizon Sim Card? topic

I'm using the Turbo with Verizon but I want to change the APN so I can add the AdBlockPlus settings. However, the (+) button to add a new APN isn't there for me. Looks like I need to be using a different network to be able to edit the APB but I was wondering if there's any way to force the phone to use a custom APN (or to change the one that's tied to the SIM)

How can I change ESN? topic

How can I change the ESN? I have a Fascinate, ooooooooold, that allowed me to do so easily via ##DATA#. Between QPST and Fastboot oem writemeid/imei, I was able to move over some of the variables, but I cannot seem to find a way to do so for the ESN (or pESN). I found some methods using QXDM, but this required flipping the string and then some of the steps did not match what I was being told, and the one thing I was told from the getgo was, "do eff up, you'll ruin your device." So I stopped as soon as I hit any roadblock. Aside from shelling out 8 for CDMA WS, which I will only use once in maybe 3 years, that's the last time I upgraded, how can I swap out the ESN, in a safer way? I know there is always a risk of ruining the device, but cut and past is easier than going crosseyed with flipping strings.

Firstly I want to tell I don't know if I'm in the right forum to explain my doubt. SORRY!! I'm new here and I don't know anything yet. I'd like to install United Kingdom's official version (BTU) by Odin. What should I do? I know how I have to do by Odin and then I have to do reset to the wipes. is this enough? I´d like to have my phone how if I would have bought in UK, I don't want to install BTU over PHE. Can anyone help me please??? Thanks.

[Q] How do I change download icons? topic

Hi guys, Is it possible to change the download icons? I have a (rooted) Lenovo S8-50 Tablet and the download icons are uglyyy. By download icon I mean for example, I download a file from chrome and it's starts showing that's it's downloading with the arrow thingy in the notification bar. Anyway, I've attached a pic with a red arrow pointing towards it, just in case you don't know what I'm talking about. Thanks.:)

New firmware updates do not show up after locale change topic

Hello, I bought my GNote PRO 12.2 LTE in Hong Kong. Then, moved to Japan in mid-September. I changed the locale to Japanese. Since then, from this forum, it seems that there has been 1 or 2 firmware update. However, I have not received such notification. Even I manually went to settings to check if there is any new firmware update, the device reports that I got the latest firmware. Now I am travelling Hong Kong. Again, after manually checking for possible firmware upgrade, it says no. Have I messed up the system so that no more firmware upgrade is detected? The one I got is:

[Q] Change Gallery App that Launches from Camera ( HyperDrive RLS 20 ) topic

Hello-
I'm using HypeDrive RLS20. After taking a picture, you can click on the thumbnail at the top left to open the image in the Gallery viewer. Is there a way to change the application that is used for viewing the image? Frequently, when I try to view an image after taking a picture, I get the 'Unfortunately the Gallery App has closed' error when backing out of the Gallery. I have an alternate Gallery app installed but the old Gallery app still opens my pictures where I try to view them from within the Camera application. I'm using a Samsung 32GB SD Card. Class 10 I believe.

[Q] Installing a ROM without a recovery change topic

Hi all !
ive searched thoroughly for a few days and have not found an answer to my question so I am making a new thread.
I have been wondering if it is possible to install a ROM without getting the recovery changed. By this I mean, can you install a ROM without going from TWRP to CWM or vice versa? it seems stupid, yes I know, but in all of my experience, and for the last 50+ ROMs, upon flash, the Recovery changes with the kernel, so I wanted to know if anyone can answer me (in regard to S2) and yes I do know that some RoMs only work with a certain version of CWM or above etc but I was curious.
