Can't transfer videos to Nexus 9 over USB topic

Hi there,

My mother is an international airline pilot and downloads a lot of TV shows and movies to watch on her 2-3 hour breaks on her tablet. She had an Asus Transformer Prime which worked well, but it just crapped out. We got her a Nexus 9, but now when we connect it via USB, it doesn't seem to be able to transfer videos from her computer (all Windows 8.1).

We open the video's folder and the tablet's Movies folder, and when we drag the movie file onto the tablet it just displays a (/) no symbol over the cursor. Pictures transfer just fine.

So what's up with that?? Something's gotta be wrong, I know this is possible to do. We did it with her old tablet and I do it with my Nexus 7 and my phone all the time.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
-David

[Q] Videos that play just fine on the phone, plays upside down on the computer topic

Hi guys,
I'm having a little annoying problem with my M8.
Every time I record a video with the phone in landscape mode, the video play just fine on the phone no matter the orientation, and it also play fine on computer as long as it was originally recorded with the camera on the left side.

Instead, if the video was recorded with the camera oriented on the right side, then the video still play fine on the phone, but will play upside down on computer.

Am I missing anything?

Slow motion videos? topic

Does the Moto G save slow motion videos in slow motion? I have a G2 which only slows down the video on the phone, but the video file itself is saved in normal speed. Unlike say iPhone and Samsung where videos are shot in slow motion and play that way when transferred to a PC or played on a TV. Thanks

[Bug report] HW and HW+ decoder lags on some videos topic

1. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 wifi (SM-T520)
2. Android version: Kitkat 4.4.4
3. Official CyanogenMod 11 nightly 11-20141209
4. When I play some videos and using HW and HW+ decoder, I experience video is out of sync. It looks like there's frame dropping. Problem also exists on my Xperia V with latest CM. I use on both devices custom codecs from this forum. While using SW decoder everything is fine.

[Q] Wanna save photos and videos taken by camera app inside micro sdcard topic

Hi to all members and developers of Xda,
I just bought Redmi note 4G and start to encounter a problem.
8GB internal storage is ok for the apps but for the videos and photos, i am sure that it won't be enough for me.
So I bought an micro sd card 32GB.
However, I still cannot find a way to let camera save in sd card. (Camera 360 also)
I am aware that this is because of kit kat.
My phone is already rooted.
Is there any solution for this using root permission?

Thanks
