I know, the Tegra K1 gets hot. Is this a widespread issue though (some people only report minor warmth)? How hot is too hot? Mine is getting stoopid hot, and I'm pissed because I finally have a unit with almost no issues, save the over heating problem. I know the SHIELD has issues with screen cracking, and the N9 should be safer with the metal band, but something doesn't seem right...

Smart cover design flaw, anyone dared to punch a hole in it? topic
I have received a free original S View Cover through a promotion from Samsung.
This cover has a serious flaw that hinders usage: it covers the proximity & light sensors. So when you close it and the Sview shows, it is shown in minimal brightness so it cant be seen outside. And when ending a call and removing the phone from your ear with the cover closed, the call screen does not return so you can end the call.
Has anyone overcome this by punching holes in the cover obstructing the sensors?
The LG smart cover overcomes this by showing the action view on full brightness by default, i also seem to remember they solved the end-call bit.
