[Q] Android memory issue topic

I have a Galaxy S duos 2 (GT-S7582) and im having what i think is a bug
My phone currently has 1.2gb/2.0gb free internal memory and 2.8gb/64gb sd card but still it refuses to install one specific apk(any other that i try installing works fine)
apk has 4.0mb and i had it installed a while ago so i pretty sure it ins't a memory shortage.

camera issue ! topic

i was on cm 11 and i switched to stock ftf again and now whenever i run the camera app it shows the message " error: camera not available"
i reflashed cm 11 and camera works fine in it but then i reversed it back to stock ftf and again the same camera issue. what should i do to make camera run in stock ftf again ? i have tried alternative apps for camera and they don't work either

[Q] Intermittent Wi-Fi Issue on 5.0.1 topic

I have not seen a particular thread with this particular issue:
I am running Lollipop 5.0.1 on a Google Play Edition device (was properly converted to GPE).
Whenever the phone is idle (usually after a night of charging, I am getting the "!" near the Wi-Fi, meaning that the Wi-Fi connection is problematic. This is not true, and it fixes itself by toggling Wi-Fi Off/On. It is annoying since no notifications are coming through. In this particular screenshot, even the data has the "!". See the attachment for more details.

This happens often, but not in a way I can reproduce everytime. I've tried flashing the official GPE and the SkyDragon custom ROM, cleanly flashing them each time. It suggests that the problem lies in Lollipop itself, and not in something I did wrong. I've also tried reflashing the GPE radio.

Anyone having this problem and any idea of a fix?

[Q] Connection issue topic

All my apps seem to have an issue connection to wifi or data. They tell me I don't have a connection but when I tell the app to connect again it works fine. It's almost always the second time it tries to connect it works. It's not a huge deal but it's kind of annoying. Is there a fix or is mine broken?

[Q] Lagging Issue topic

So I'm just on the basic stock rom rooted on the sprint version. I've noticed every 30 sec when im doing something on it, it will freeze and then respond 3 seconds later, as well as songs on blue tooth lag as well. Any suggestions. Oh and my ok google available everywhere is greyed out and im on English and i believe svoice is enabled. My favorites wont display on the edge bar either when i add them and press done.

Fastboot issue topic

Just got my N9 today. When I ADB devices, i see the serial # of my device properly. If I go into bootloader, when I fastboot devices, it comes up as all question marks (??????????????? fastboot). Windows properly sees my device as "Android Bootloader Interface". I am able to do basic commands (oem unlock, reboot-bootloader, etc). However I cannot push any files (root or custom recovery.) My DOS window just hangs and nothing transfers.

I googled for three hours and can't find if this is fixable or if I have to RMA. (And if I do RMA, how would I? I can't say I am having issues pushing custom recoveries to the device LOL)

[Q] Paranoid Android, Nexus 4 google account sign in issue topic

Dear Xda,

I just flashed the Paranoid Android 4.4.4 rom for my Nexus 4, when I try Signing into my Google account while on wifi I keep getting a unstable connection message, but I can sign in on my mobile network.

While on Wifi I cannot access the play store either, it says I have no connection when my Wifi is working fine.

Any ideas?

[Q] Camera 360 issue topic

Hi!

I've got a problem with an app Camera 360 Ultimate. After installing everything works OK including front camera, but when i want to switch to the back camera then there is an issue: "Camera won't start. Please retry later or restart your cell phone". Of course i tried restarting (rebooting) but nothing happened. Does anybody know how to solve this problem ? My device: Galaxy S4 i9505 on Cyanogenmod 12.

[Q] USB issue with Win7 -device unknown topic

I apologize if this isn't the proper forum.

I had a Samsung Galaxy S3 (The non LTE version) with T-Mobile. I have used the KIES 3 software to backup my phone.
I got a Samsung Galaxy S4 (the M919 model) with T-Mobile.

First, I connected the phone to my Win7 64-bit Home Edition pc with the same Galaxy S3 USB cable. It charges, and I hear the "boo-beep" and Windows 7 says it's installing device software and then comes back and says "unknown device" installation failed. In Device Mangler, it shows up under USB controllers, for some reason as "unknown device".

Okay, so I reinstalled the Samsung USB drivers.
No go
I used the actual S4 cable that came with the phone.
No go.

I have done the debug USB mode. No go.
I have verified that the MTP protocol is used (vs. Camera) and that it's set to MTP+ADB

I've switched back and forth to camera vs. MTP
Windows seems to detect the USB signal in that it knows when it's plugged in and when it's not, but it seems to IMMEDIATELY (and I mean very very fast, like under 1 second) "find" it always as a USB controller -> Unknown Device

So, I've tried my laptop. windows 7 64-bit. Same thing.
I had a spare pc around, so I even reformatted the drive and put a fresh copy of windows 7 on it. Same thing.
I've manually installed the Samsung drivers (without KIES). Still no go.

So I guess my questions:
1) Is there some other method to verify USB port is working properly? (like can you connect it to something else and have it work)? I'm assuming it's good since not only does it charge, but it at least is attempted to connect with Windows 7
2) I've got 2 more cables ordered --official Samsung ones--just in case
3) Can you root and unroot a phone without USB? It seems they all require USB drivers, and ODIN to work. I ended up having to manually backup the S3 via GCloud or whatever to get my stuff transferred over.

Oh, I also have an SD card in the phone.
Yes, I tried unmount it, and even removing it, rebooting, etc. Still no go.

I am trying to find an XP machine to see if that works any better.

Texting issue topic

I just got my LG G watch for Xmas, I down loaded and installed the Android ware app on my Samsung Galaxy S5, paired it up with the watch. The watch updated itself to 5.0.1. I notifications are sporadic, some times I get a facebook notification, then nothing. people don't get my texts even though it goes to the Galaxy and says it sent, I get text notifications. I have sent to both iPhones and Android phones, anyone have an Idea. I even returned the watch for a replacement, same issue.

[Q] G2 Screen On issue topic

If I press the power button on my G2, the screen comes on, and goes off after about 1 second. During this one second, I can unlock the screen and do anything but the screen ultimately goes off. the only way to use my phone is to turn the screen on by plugging in the charger, or by pressing power button volume down at the same time. this switches the screen on normally. Tap to sleep works perfectly but tap to wake isn't working. I've tried factory reset. I've cleaned cache partition. I'm all stock no root. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

unique software issue - please help and instruct or suggest topic

Hey guys... Love you guys! I have a somewhat unique issue going on and am wondering whawt you all think is the best way to proceed. I have a D415 LG-Optimus L90 for T-Mobile. It was rooted with Towelroot (v3 I believe) and I flashed CM onto it (CM11, i believe). I had the back cover removed with battery in it BUT it was powered off and it was laying on the ground and a very shallow, light puddle of liquid seeped down the walls and eventually it puddled up and seeped under my phone so a VERY small amount, a very light layer, of liquid got onto the bottom/outside parts of my battery and the back-inside area surrounding battery. Upon reinserting the battery, it wouldn't turn on. When connected to charger, it gives me the empty battery icon with the yellow triangle (warning? sign). If i leave the phone powered off for a day or more and connect to charger/power bank (it fluctuates), it charges from 0% BUT it stays at 0%.... after about a minute of this, I can boot the phone up and it boots up to my CM initial setup/welcome screen. At this point, I can go through the setup process however no wi-fi networks show up (and i'm in a wi-fi networks zone) and after going through "Setup" steps and click "Finish" or "Go to Home Screen", it powers down and reboots and stays stuck in this bootloop. Sometimes, if i restart or power cycle my device from initial setup/welcome screen while STILL connected, it'll go back to the empty battery icon with the yellow triangle warning icon.. So i'm getting a new battery today and am wondering what I should do once I charge my new battery and am ready to fix my phone; flash stock OS onto it? Re-flash CM and Gapps? Any and all help is appreciated ; i do have internet access with sync cables, SD cards, etc so I should have all tools neessary to fix this. I've been a month without a phone and needless to say, i've suffered for it so any and all help is appreciated; any links,referalls, suggestions.... Thanks in advance!

[Q] Very strange microsd card formatting issue topic

I have searched a similar problem in this fórum for some hours, but could not find.
I have a 64GB sandisk microsd card in my Galaxy S5 (I9505). I started using this card when my phone had jelly bean 4.2.2. Everything was fine, I had filled more than 30GB of it with music.
Then, around 1 month ago, I decided to update my phone to kitkat 4.4.2. I did this, then rooted it again. After this, I read that kitkat does not accept apps to write in the sdcard, so I installed the kitkat external sd card patcher, which changes the permission files so that the card can be writable again.
But even doing so, I can not write (or copy or even delete) anything in this sdcard. I tried to format it in Windows, DOS, and also inside the phone, but I do not get. I can read all the files (play all the musics) in it , but no write operation.
Any suggestion on how to proceed to fix this? How could this happen?:(

[Q] Memup SlidePad 704ce, livesuit flashing issue! topic

Hello everyone!
First of all I'd like to apologize if I posted this thread in the wrong place.
So I've been facing a very disturbing problem lately when I tried to flash my memup slidepad 704ce's firmware back using livesuit (1.07 , 1.11 & 1.12), each time i try to flash my .img file i get 0x162 error.
Currently am stuck since there no recovery on this tablet and then my lock screen has reached the maximum allowed tries.
I would like to know if there any universal firmware that I could potentially use to bring my tab back to life!
or if there anybody has the original firmware to share with me.
Note: the memup website is down, the company no longer exist!
