[Q] Installing a stock rom app on Cyanogenmod 11 topic

06:20

Hello there,
I own an LG Optimus L7 II P710 and i recently flashed an unofficial CM 11 on it. this is the link to the thread where i downloaded it: http://forum.xda-developers.com/opti...0-713-t2979880

before this ive always used a customized version of the stock rom (ill just refer to this rom as stock rom) here is the link to that rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2744491

It works really well and im very happy to finally have CM on my device since the stock rom got really slow and laggy. The only point is that i really hate the in-built Apollo music app. The same goes for the camera. Now, the stock rom had an excellent working music app and camera and i really want to install those apps on the CM rom. I tried to manually install the apk files but that doesnt work it says: app not installed. I tried to move the apk files to root/data/app and set permissions to rw-r-r and then reboot but this doesnt work either, the apps dont even appear in the app drawer :( I also tried to move the apk files into the app folder BEFORE flashing the rom. The apps would appear in the app drawer but when i tried to start the music app it said: Unfortunatly, Music has stopped.
Id be eternally gratefull to the one who could help me out.

Im sorry if this is a bad post its my first one.

Thanks for reading this and I hope you can help me out.
