Will a Nexus 6 purchased from AT&T work on VZW? topic
I purchased this on eBay, and the description said "carrier unlocked", but when I popped in my VZW SIM, it gives me a message "SIM network unlock PIN" I just pressed dismiss through this, thought everything was working because I'm connected through wifi. I can send and receive SMS, and make voice calls. When WiFi is off, I have no data connection. Am I screwed, or is there a way to unlock this from AT&T?

Hi,
Does anyone have the AT&T RUU for the One M8 for Windows? It looks like HTC/Verizon lock the available LTE channels to Verizon's channels in their firmware and as such I can't get a 4G signal in Ireland even though HTC's webpage lists the handset as supporting the channel that my carrier (Three) use (which funnily enough, is 3).
Would it be possible to flash this godawful Verizon software off my phone and overwrite it with the AT&T software or even better, unbranded firmware?
Verizon even lock stuff down like changing the phone's language - they only support English (United States) so if I want Cortana I have to leave everything set at US settings and occasionally badly fake an American accent for her to understand me properly.

I'm not even sure if they can detect if your boot loader is even unlocked without physically having the device, but I did read that they don't allow phones with unlocked bootloaders on their networks, so if this is the case how do they detect it, can you bypass this at all? Because if they need the physical thing I can just restore it whenever I need their help. Any help would be appreciated :)

Need Help flashing 4.4.4 To AT&T HTC One M8. topic
I have an HTC One M8 AT&T Branded but it has 4.4.2 on it and i wanna flash viperrom 3.2.1 but it requires androids 4.4.4 software. im S-ON, 3.16 Bootloader with 1.58.502.1 Software number. Baseband Version is 1.16.21331931.LA11G_20.31A.4145.02L. im just looking to Update from 4.4.2 to 4.4.4 but i cant seem to find out how. Any help would be great.
Did AT&T stop throttling unlimited data customers? topic
I am well past my 5GB limit on my unlimited data plan and I still have full internet speed. I'm at 5.73GB and there is no throttling. In the past, as soon as I got close to my data cap my speeds would slow to 0.5 Mnps. Right now I'm still getting 20 Mbps speeds. Anyone else notice this?

Q - OTA update not working AT&T sgh-i467 topic
I got the notification to upgrade my device OTA. I declined several times since i didnt have a reliable wi-fi connection. Now when i try to update , I get the message that my system is up to date. I tried to erase and reset my device but without luck. Can someone tell me how to get the update. Im currently ver 4.1.2 UCAMF2.

I got an AT&T Samsung note 3 (SM-N900A) from USA and i want to use it outside Europe and US, the Note have the following specification:
Model number: SAMSUNG-SM-N900A
Android Version: 4.4.2
Baseband Version: N900AUCUCMLG
build number: KOT49H.N900AUCUCMLG
Version:
AP: N900AUCUCMLG
CP: N900AUCUCMLG
CSC: N900AATTCMLG
I successfully root it by using Geohot's Towelroot app :) . but when I tried the Chainfire's RegionLock Away v1.3 app it didn't work for me ( since I no longer have the AT&T SIM card) :( .
I also tried to use the service mode ( *#197328640# ) method but I couldn't find phone control screen :( .
so I tried to Install Custom ROM (build number: Dynamic Kat 2.0) using Safestrap, it worked fine for an android system but after repeating the above methods didn't seem to unlock it :( .
the Note seems to read the new SIM network but can't register on it or read its internal saved contacts :eek:
So can I update the modem of this device to an international modem without bricking it? and how to do so in a Safe way?
is their a other way to SIM unlock it ?
