Is it just my device or does this thing charge super slow? I can't even get a full charge in a hour and a half and the battery is only 410mah.

Charging port barely charging topic
Hello all...
Ive had my m8 since the end of april. It's worked and charged fine up until last Thursday. I started to notice that when I have it plugged in, the led will come on and it'll say it's charging, but it doesn't actually charge, most of the time it continued to decrease. After playing with different cables and the gsam app I found that it won't actually charge unless I put pressure or weight on top of the end of the cable that is plugged in to my phone. Even then, I have to mess with it quite a bit and hope when I wake up, it'll be charged.
This has become increasingly frustrating every time I plug it in to charge now. Has anyone else experienced this problem with your device? Also does anyone know of a fix, besides paying the 9 to get it replaced with my ATT insurance plan? I really just want to wait until around April and get a new phone, preferably with a snapdragon 810 processor, however, at this point, I don't think I can make it until then.

[Q] Anyone using Qi charging? topic
I'm curious if anyone has been using Qi charging with their TabPro? Anyone's comments would be appreciated.
I used a micro-usb Qi coil receiver between my TabPro 8.4 and the Poetic case for a few weeks without issues.
But then something happened to cause the Qi charging pad to overheat. I ended up having to have the TabPro 8.4 replaced by BestBuy as the TabPro would no longer charge at all, even trying different micro-usb cables and 2.1 amp power adaptors. What was even stranger, was the battery continued to drain even after powering the TabPro off! I'm puzzled as to what was damaged, but the end result was the battery went from 41% charge to 7% charge overnight even though it was powered off (not sleeping, but powered off) and not connected to a charger. When I discovered it was at 7% I removed my account info, but even with the charger plugged in, the battery went down to 3% while working on the TabPro. When I checked on it an hour latter it was dead. If I plugged in the charger, after about 20 seconds it would flash the green battery for about a second, then it would go out. No boot, no charging, even after leaving it charging for 24 hours.
So I'm very reluctant to try to use Qi wireless charging on my replacement tab. I suspect the Qi charging pad failed and overheated. There is a spot about the size of a dime where the plastic partially melted on the charging pad. The Poetic case and the TabPro look fine, and the charging pad still acts like it is working. Very puzzling. Any ideas or cautions?

Charging port topic
Another day where my phone starts to act weird.
Now as of y hours ago it is not charging correctly. I have tried 3 different chargers to include my car and the battery drains instead of charging. I keep getting a pop up, which the picture is below and on my status bar it keeps saying "the dock is connected" do not know that what heck that it's. I gave done no changes except now I'm using chrome cast to mirror my phone.
I read online that the problem seems to be with my charging port and manually changing it would be the only fix.
Any other solutions out there?

[Q] Switch off charging LED topic
I'm very keen to get rid of the charging LED. (I don't want any LED at any time, but everything except charging can of course be switched off under Settings).
I've tried several apps, but all either require root or simply don't work.
My phone is not rooted and I don't want to root.
Does anyone know of any of the many LED-killing apps that actually work on the Ultra, without root? Many thanks.

[Q] Moto 360 drain while charging topic
Question guys... I just got my Moto 360, and I love it. For the past two nights, I';ve gone to bed with the watch being around 50% battery. I put it in the charger, it shows it's charging, and I go to bed. I wake up and the watch is off, and cannot turn on. I take it off of the charger, wait a couple of minutes, put it back on the charger and the white charging light comes on, and it shows completely drained.
Why is my watch draining while in the charger?

[Q] Qi Wireless Charging topic
Hey all, I was just wondering what you think is the best option for wireless charging on the Note 4 as I am really interested in it. I am currently looking at this
- Qi Pad amazon.com/dp/B00JA7HNZO/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=6GF8 8B1Q6SXD&coliid=I3O5HJ1WEMX2YE&psc=1
-Receiver amazon.com/Qi-infinity-Wireless-Charging-Receiver-Samsung/dp/B00P48BIFY/ref=pd_sim_cps_3?ie=UTF8&refRID=0VEVR16CF6A1PXXQ0R SE
but some of the reviews have said that using a receiver makes there phone really hot and I kinda got scared with it being a brand new phone I'm really protective lol. So I looked into official Samsung backs and found
This - amazon.com/dp/B00NQG2XNW/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=6GF8 8B1Q6SXD&coliid=I1WB1QHUDSKHLS&psc=1
But I was really just wondering if it were necessary as it is 20 dollars more expensive (broke ass college student) and adds quite a bit of bulk apparently to the back of the phone.
Thoughts?

htc one not charging (No usb host mode) topic
So today i unplug my phone from my charger, then i wanted to transfer files via USB OTG. So i immediately plug in my usb otg and my pendrive(cuz pc cant detect my phone due to usb problem), sadly it wont work (got usb host mode). then i download latest elementalx kernel (18.0) and flashed it. after that, i immediately go charge my phone, nothing happened. no usb host mode bug, no landscape mode.
then, i entered fastboot while charging my phone, it only display fastboot instead of fastboot usb and its not charging. Tried reinstall rom (ARHD81.0) three time, one of them it will charge after boot, but NOT anymore after i entered fastboot. Tried wipe system and cache, still not charging. Only will charge when powered off and in recovery mode. Help! Some of my friend told me that my battery is dying, isit true?

[Q] Wireless charging under CM11 topic
I got an OEM Qi backplate and charging base for Xmas and was super excited to use it. I haven't had wireless charging since my Palm Pre and have sorely missed it. Get everything laid out and ready to go, drop my phone, and it states it is charging and the pad confirms power is flowing. Come back on hour later; not only did it not charge, it ran my battery down faster than it would if it sat idle. So I try it with the LG OEM charger and cable. Once again, no dice, but at least it didn't run it down faster than at idle.
For grins, I found a friend who has a stock VS985, and tried the same exact charger and cable with my backplate. Of course it works. I searched high and low, far and wide on Google to no avail on an answer why CM11 fails to charge wirelessly.
Here's what I've got:
- VS985 running CM11 nightly 20141225.
- Anker Wireless Qi Base.
- LG OEM Qi backplate, charger and cable.
Any ideas what I can do to resolve this? TIA.

Gear VR charging when in use idea topic
Got my Gear VR on Christmas eve, loving it so far but not played with it for hours at a time so not had a problem with the battery as yet,
but I was thinking that maybe attaching a QI pad to the back of the phone would allow you to play longer?
Not had chance to have a go yet, but there could be problems with heat & maybe the weight of the QI pulling the Gear down on your nose, that would be bad for me as i have a BIG nose lol
But just a idea if anyone wants to give it a go?
P.S
Happy Christmas to all :)

I9505 [4.4.2] extreme lag after charging. mpdecision process 25% cpu usage. topic
I have the problem that my Galaxy S4 (rooted) becomes laggy or totally unresponsive after fully charging. If I only charge to around 85% and disconnect the charger there's no problem. I can do this several times over days and the phone works fine. But if the charge level reaches something around 90% or more (hard to check the exact number, but it does not have to be 100%) the phone starts to lag. Sometimes the phone locks up completely (pushing the power button a long time reboots it; I did not yet have to remove the battery), but most times it's just very unresponsive. Menu/back button hardly work (light up, but are mostly ignored), the home button most times triggers the task manager and does not go to the home screen.
If I can get as far as to start "OS Monitor", I can see a "/system/bin/mpdecision" process using up to 25% CPU (essentially hogging one core). Killing the process (a new mpdecision process, that uses below 1% CPU, restarts immediately) makes the phone alittle bit more responsive, but not back to normal. If I try to check information about the CPU cores OS Monitor hangs at "gathering information" about the cores (works without problems before the lag).
The only thing that fixes everything is a reboot of the phone.
I've tried a factory reset, even reflashed the firmware with odin, but that didn't change anything. What else can I do? Currently it's very annoying that I have to babysit the phone and reboot it as soon as it's fully charged.

[Q] Dead battery, no charging, no warning, no vibrating,.... topic
Dear xda
On the 23th of December my phone ran out of battery % . So it was at 0%. I couldn't charge it until the day after. On the 24th when i put the phone in the original wall charger, It gave me the warning that I had to let it charge for a while before power on. I left it alone for about two hours, after that I pulled it out to see if it turned on, because I needed my phone, but nothing came out of it, I plugged it back in, and still nothing, not even a vibrate nor the warning message of the low battery level...
The phone was dead to my concern after Goolging a little and looking into the forums, I saw two persons with the same issue as me.
The first person () solved it leaving it 24h for nothing so the battery could rest for a while and yesterday evening (after leaving it for +- 25h)I plugged it in but nothing showed up, not even the warning message, as mentioned before, but with still good hope I left the phone charge overnight, but this morning, still nothing out of the phone.
The second person (https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/o...-solved.41777/) I was talking about had a more drastic solution, he opened up his phone, unscrewed the motherboard plate, disconnected the battery and reconnected it. This morning I was prepared to do it, but when I removed the back cover of my phone I saw the screws, but also the sticker and the rubbers (with behind them I assume more screws?), but since you first have to remove the rubbers and the sticker to unscrew those screws I am affraid I will lose warranty....
Can you please help me out, because I would love to use my beloved Oneplus again.
Do you have other possible solutions/fixes? Can I remove the sticker and the rubbers WITHOUT LOSING WARRANTY?
Sincerely Greetings

P.S. : My phone is Rooted, Unlocked and has Stock CM12 (but I don't see any problems here because, that does not void any warranty ;) ), but nothing special was flashed or done to the phone right before the problems showed up, I mostly think of a faulty battery, or dead battery.
I posted this also on oneplus forums, but more help is alwaya appreciated ;)
