[Q] Wrong Wifi Country Code topic
I have flashed a multitude of ROMs on my tab S 10.5 since getting it last summer. Somewhere along the line my tab S lost its US identity. About 4-5 ROMs back after installing a new ROM I no longer could see wireless N 5 ghz SSIDs.
On KitKat the fix was easy, wifi/advanced and pick the correct region. On Lollipop that option is no longer present under wifi/advanced (at least under CM12 it isnt).
For Lollipop I am using a multi step process to fix the country code.
It works, but given how often I flash ROMs it is kind of a PITA.
At one point I installed stock Samsung European firmware without realizing it was European until it was too late. Recently I installed stock Samsung US firmware. That did not fix it.
I do a clean flash every time I install ROMs. I am currently running CM 12 (cm-12-20141226-UNOFFICIAL-chagallwifi.zip) Bootloader is T800XXU1ANK1.
Any tips on how to fix this permanently so I dont have to apply the fix every time I flash a ROM would be greatly appreciated.

[guide] Repair bootloop wrong recovery flash Huawei G750-u10 / honor 3-u10 topic
this tutorial, is for repairing the huawei g750-u10 in case you flashed the wrong recovery and now you're stuck in a bootloop.
First of all you will need (it's all in the link to download, make shure you have a sdcard on your phone before starting):
-Adb install setup
-Adb toolkit
-vcom drivers
mega.co.nz/#!gURHXDoZ!QNmv7LaK8r4WIQBGaUyoNho3TPX0YZp9jwHaEHg DmII
-Installation of the phone mediatek drivers:
-Start with installing th vcom drivers i provided on the rar file, type HDWWIZ on the windows search tab:
Install the hardware manually>Ports(com&lpt)>Have a disk>select the file wich corresponds to you windows>mediatekpreloader usb vcom port> restart your computer. (if this method doesn't work for you try to search for vcom driver installation tutorials)
-Installing adb
-double click on the adb-setup.exe file provided and install it including drivers.
-the adb tool kit doesn't need installation just run the Adb toolkit Gui
on adb toolkit, type the command fastboot continue as shown in the picture
s13.postimg.org/yuauaawpj/Untitled.jpg
Remove the battery from your mobile phone, wait 5s plug it in again and push the power button till it turns on but keep your finger in the VOLUME DOWN, it may reboot 2 times but then you will get the fastboot/repair mode image.
When you are in fastboot, connect your phone to the usb in the computer (the mediatek drivers will install wait for installation to complete).
Now return to the Adb GUI and press the execute command, it will appear something like and wait a few seconds then your phone will restart it self and boot normally.
You're allmost there:
-When your phone boots, select the usb connection to usb mass storage device.
-copy the recovery.img provided to the root of your sdcard, safely unplug the phone from your pc.
-download and install the mobile mtk uncle tools app from the playstore.
-turn off wifi and mobile data, start the app and give it root permission.
-press the recovery update, select the chinese character file that you copied to your sd before and proceed, VERY IMPORTANT when it asks if you want to reboot into recovery select NO.
- get out off the app and restart your device normally, it's all done you have your phone back. :D
this is my first tutorial on xda, hope it is easy to follow and i'm thankfull for any suggestions to improve it.

[Q] stuck at TWRP screen after wrong wipe topic
I made a terrible mistake by wiping in the RKC menu. Now I can't access to my tablet anymore (neither adb (no device) nor fastboot (waiting for device) commands work) I'm stuck at the TWRP logo screen. It flashes twice after a hard or soft reset.
With every search I didn't get any answer how to solve this.
Solutions by Buster (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2425581) and Matiosse (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2395644) didn't work
I had KitKat 4.4.4-CROMBi-kk-R1-Oct 1 , F2S, and TWRP 2.7.0.1 rooted and unlocked of course.
Any help is very appreciated.
Thanks, Henk-Jan.

[Q] Flashed wrong kernel!!! topic
i Was trying to get rid of the hissing noise on my

Now my phone boots into a black screen within the left top corner:

[2850] udc_start()
i cannot boot into twrp anymore, it's basically bricked.
Can anyone help me recover my phone? i loved that thing, you will be my hero.

[Q] Swapping SDcard from external to internal gone wrong. topic
I have a rooted and unlocked C2104. I tried swapping external and internal and ended up changing mount points that is my phone now recognizes my microsd card as internal. Now since the microsd card does not have bootloader and other nand files, it does not recognize it when i use power button. I find only 2 solutions throught internet:
1: To replace the motherboard.
2. To make sdcard as internal and install bootloader into it to make the phone boot from it and then flash ftf via fllashtool.
I dont know if it can be done, but if anyone can please give me the size and mountpoints of nand partition then i think i can pull it off. Help me please.

CWM/TRWP can't mount sd-card or data. Perhaps wrong rommanager? topic
HI
i need your help.
I have an Photon Q 4g LTE and want to update to CyanogenMod.
Via Fastboot and ADB i can upload CWM/TRWP successfully.
But when i start it, it cannot mount data and SD-CARD. External SD is ok.
Even if i use external-sd i cannot flash custom rom. If failed by not mounting several directories.
In another thread for Samsung i found that there are "bad rommanager" which has a virtual recovery on SD, This makes sense in my case, i cannot have access to SD-Card (internal). But i cannot find any hint how to get and flash a new rommanager. Only via app. But i have no stock rom.
Can anyone help me?
Thank you in advance.

[Q] Help!! something's wrong with my M8 after rooting it topic
Hi all, sorry for my poor English as i'm not a local. But i hope someone can help me
I had rooted my device by following steps provided by a forum . Then after i rebooted it, it just comes with a white screen, i could neither go into the recovery mode nor the fastboot mode and i thought i might have bricked my phone. Then i have my phone recovered by using something like "shuame" which is a Chinese software.
HERE COMES THE BIGGEST PROBLEM:

My original model : M8y (unroot) (unlock) (s-on)
Model it defined now: M8w (rooted) (unlock) (s-off)

And when I scrolled down the status bar, it's not as same as what i could see before root. And my heart is broken now :crying: , I hope if an expert could help me to make M8w back to M8y. This is what i can see from bastboot mode:

[Q] wrong entries in settings sharedPrefs after update topic
In my settings, i have multiple multiselectlist preference items where the user can choose different courses. So now i changed the array that is associated with the preference item but i saw, while manually viewing the shared prefs xml file, that the old selected value, which doesn't exist in the entries-array of the updated version, is still saved in the particular string set inside shared prefs.
When i view my settings from inside my app, the multiselectlist item has now all entries unchecked, although there is still that old item saved as mentioned before. Even checking new entries doesn't help, it just adds them to the old value inside the string set xml-item.
This is fatal for my app's behaviour, how can i solve that without the user having to clear all his initially saved settings?

First, I know this is the wrong post. 2 I have read everywhere topic
Been trying t fx my LG exceed 2 for months. I need the stock kdz for this to do it. Don't need any help other than a good download link. I need the stock kdz file. A link to it .. Anything. Even the stock recovery would work. I could do a lot with that as I have NO recovery in it right now. It looks to get signal from phone Bluetooth wiri etc. It won't. No internet at all. I just want to fix it. I have tried everything but the filws I need aren't available and I can't find them anywhere. As I said I have been looking fr weeks. Its a pretty bad ass phone. Too bad Verizon hates customers. Anyway. Any helpbwould be appreciated.
PS, if aod will move this to a better spot that's very cool of you to do. I just have looked everywhere and nothing is even close. Locked bootloader on a prepaid phone. Are they going crazy over there? If I wanted an I phone I'd go buy one. Jeez.
