How to get a fast charge topic

Ok on kk roms my phone would charge normally with the original charger . but since the lollipop updates whenever i plug my phone in it says slow usb charging . i have in stalled chupa kernel and also have trickster mod donate and selected force fast charge but it still thinks im plugged into my pc.


Any ideas how i can get it to charge normal / faster

Fast charging topic

To get the s5 to take advantage of fast charge do you just need to have your cable plugged into a USB 3.0 port on pc? Or do you have to have a "system" you buy as an accessory?

And how is this compared to just the Samsung oem charger that comes with the phone? With the USB 3.0 cable.

Fast Charging Issue topic

Yesterday I have my curiousity and uncheck the fast charging option on settings. I turn off my note 4 and start my charging. I started to charge at 18% and after an hour it go up to 23% which is annoying. I decided to turn on my device and tick the check box of fast charging option. I left my device for 2 hours but to my surprise it was only at 54%! (device off). I turn on again my device to check if the fast charging is activated and found out that it was checked. I left it again for 2 hours and still 72%. Anyone experienced this? Any advice? It will be so much appreciated. TIA.

Needed fast - rooted or not? topic

Hi guys,
I'm a soon to be Xperiaman and it's my first time to own a Sony phone. I'm buying it secondhanded and it is still under warranty - how can I check if it's rooted or if there have been any custom ROMs installed? Is there a custom binary counter or something alike? If not, is there a way to make it invisible for a dealer to see if the phone has been rooted/modified in software?
I'm buying the phone in 10 hours so any quick help is appreciated.

[Q] Android Tablet: Enable Fast Charge/Force AC Charge allways topic

I need to enable fast charge/AC on USB and keep it enable to communicate via USB. I need my tablet to charge as connected to AC and be able to transfer files in the same way as if I connect to a PC.

I will have a AC adapter in the middle powering the device 5V/2A, so I wont burn my PC USB port (I wont drain any power from the PC, just the D+/D-/GND Lines...). I know that I should not connect the tablet directly to a PC once I do this.

I have my device rooted, but I do not want to use a custom kernel. Is there anything I can change on my kernel to do this?

Once I think I saw some change that I must do in a system file to be able to do this, but I'm unable to find it now...

Is everyone really getting the 50% charge in 30 mins? It feels like I am getting about 1% per 1 min of charge time on average. Not sure if that is normal or I have a defect somewhere? Also, is fast charging safe to use for every charge session or is it meant to be used once in a while for emergencies? Thank you.
