[Q] Email push notifications topic

Hi,

Just got a galaxy tablet but I'm not receiving notifications when I get an email like I do with my Xperia Z3.

When I receive an email I am instantly notified, like you are with an SMS, with my Z3. I am using the Email application that came with the tablet. Any ideas?

[Q] Retrieving E-mail From Kindle... topic

Long story short... my kid broke his Kindle a ways back. He just got another new one for Christmas. We tried to register the new one, but he's forgotten his e-mail address. :\

I plugged the old Kindle into my PC and it can turn on, but the screen does not work (can't get past the initial swipe screen). Is there a way to recover the e-mail address at least, by accessing the Kindle via USB?

[Q] How to disable email synchro but keep contacts / calendar synchro enabled topic

Hi,

I'd like to have a button that would enable / disable GMAIL synchronization only. All other synchro I'd like to have always enabled.

Now in 4.4.4 I have button that enables / disables all synchro.

I know that I can edit account synchro and uncheck gmail synchro - I would prefer something more effective such simple button.

Do you guys now how can I achieve that?

I'm currently on 4.4.4, CM nightly, using xposed, rooted.

[Q] Email appointment link topic

Hi,
I recently purchased a new DROID Turbo. I moved from an IPhone. With the iPhone if I was sent an email with an appointment it would create a link and you could touch it and it would automatically create a calendar entry for me. The turbo doesn't do this... I love the phone but this is almost a deal breaker for me. Can anyone suggest a fix?

How to disable "email delete undo" option in gmail app topic

Is there any way to turn off the option to undo when an email is deleted or shorten the duration that the undo message is on the screen. I can't open any other emails for 5 seconds or so while the undo message is up on the screen.

It gets very annoying opening an email to read it, hit delete, and then have to wait to open the next one only to repeat the process.
