is there anyway i could make the fire tv remote directional pad go back/forward 10 seconds instead of 30 seconds?

Game controller & Remote topic
My FTV is rooted and I wanted to make sure it's safe, to update the game controller and remote (I notice a firmware update available)? I read on another site that some users are having issues. Also, I have another question....I blocked updates from Amazon...how can they update the game controller and the remote????? Is there a CFW or another method to update the game controller and the remote?

[Q] Tricking Remote Play to believe its on WiFi topic
Good morning all,
Yesterday I picked up a TMobile Sony Z3. This is the first Android device I've had since the original Motorola Droid. I've been on iPhones for quite some time.
I like this phone, but I picked it up for one main reason: Remote Play. I'm deep into the Sony Ecosystem, currently owning every Sony Video Game device. PSP, PS3, PS Vita, and a PS4. With my iPhone on Verizon's network, I used to tether my Vita to my iPhone so that I could utilize remote play on the go and away from any wifi network. Remote play functioned just fine this way when my phone was on Verizon's LTE network.
The problem I'm having with this phone, is that the remote play app will not function if it's not on a wifi network. This is an issue for me. Is there a way to trick the app into thinking it's on a wifi network? Or, possibly, is there an apk I can sideload that has this restriction removed?

Some features are:
- Change camera mode (Video, Photo, Burst, Time lapse)
- Change video resolution and frame rate.a
- Change Time lapse interval.
- Fire shutter to take pictures, start/stop video and see a small preview of the picture taken.
- Fire shutter by shaking your hand (Great for selfies).
- Image gallery to browse images on Camera.
- Set basic settings like Spot Meter, Beep volume, Upside down, LEDs.
- Locate camera.
- Power off/on camera.
Things to do
- Make compatible with all GoPro models (currently tested on Hero3 White only).
- Live preview on watch (Nice to have but not essential).
- Improve UI design.
- Test on round watches.
- New icons.
- Code documentation.

PS4 Remote Play topic
I'm rooted and have custom recovery. I'm running the most recent CM11 Official nightly.
Can I flash this zip and follow the procedures in this thread:

Remote control/screen sharing? topic
I'm adding my dad to our family plan and getting him a smart phone. Probably the HTC Desire 510 (Sprint)
I gave him an old Samsung Galaxy S3 (unactivated) just to play games on, and he really likes it, but it's caused hours of over the phone support because... He's old and has never touched a computer...
Is there a remote control "server" I can install on his phone so I can see what he's doing and help him?
I looked at TeamViewer, but it doesn't seem to allow remote desktop like access.

PlayStation remote play for Xiaomi mi3 topic
If your running a custom aosp based rom on your Xiaomi mi3 you can install the remote play app and play your ps4 on local Wi-Fi and over internet or LTE. Problems with internet and LTE on android 5.0+ at the moment. Not sure if this works on miui os if you try it on miui please post results for other users. From that moment I can't unlock my bootloader with your tool on htcdev.com
My device details:
Software number: 3.28.163.1
I STUCK ON THIS PART after I followed steps on htcdev.com :

I am looking to consolidate my TV remote, keyboard, + FireTV remote to one remote with keyboard + IR controls for my dumb TV power + volume. What is everyone else using? Recommendations?
I've been eyeing the Aerb MX3 and MeLE F10 Deluxe. I'm leaning towards the Aerb because it allows the IR buttons to be used without switching to a TV remote mode. I'm nervous about the air mouse kicking on all the time and selecting things I didn't intend to.

IR Remote App for Lollipop topic

i mean i love me apple earpods but that sucks that the remote control does not full function with the android and note 4... volume never works..
