[Q] Archos 50c Oxygen - Privacy Protection Password topic

I've got an Archor 50c Oxygen and , as the dumbass I am, I configured a Privacy Protection Password and can't remeber the code. The code is only asked when KitKat 4.4.2 is installed. The moment I perform a downgrade to 4.2.2 the code is not asked. All the roms are stock. I also performed a Factory reset in the Android Recovery menu and a Wipe Cache before installing the upgrade but to no availe. Is there anyone that can tell me where I can find and remove the file responisble or how I can perform a full wipe and flash of my phone. Loss of data is no problem as that has already happend.

[Q] Fingerprint and privacy topic

Hello all,
Is there a way to use the fingerprint functionality to unlock the device only ignoring the privacy feature where it just says "missed call" rather than who the caller was or even the content of a text message. I don't care about that stuff. I have an S View cover and would like to be able to call my favourite contacts and get notifications of missed calls that actually show the caller/texter. I just want to be able to use the fingerprint for security to prevent anyone from accessing photos etc but I don't care if they see who has called me or texted me!!

I hope i'm not the only one who wants this!

Are there any working sms/call/mms privacy apps for N4? topic

I used Private Place sms mms call log privacy app for a while, & it worked fairly well. Unfortunately, it causes the N4 to become unusable, regardless of what rom I use. Are there any other alternative apps anyone has successfully used on this phone to keep private sms, mms, & phone calls? Thanks!
