tasker topic

Evening all,
Just wondering what you guys have managed to do with tasker in regards to your watch.
I have just finished creating a task to text my wife that i have just finished work but using a text file with random sentences it creates a more personalized message.
I just launch the task from the watches mini launcher or say "ok google start task 1"
Now sat here trying to think of other things tho do with tasker and the watch.

Wow. Moto Assist car mode sucks... Better off with tasker? topic

So i thought it'd be pretty cool to have my X start to play music automatically when in my car... It has failed. Sometimes it will work once i start driving, but if I stop anywhere and turn off my car and go again, it won't play unless I manually do it. Ive tried clearing Moto assist data, but no go. Would tasker be better as I'd like music to play every time a BT connection is made to this certain head unit. Thanks

[Q] tasker utter conflict on adroid 5.0 Playstore 505 error topic

Has anyone that has upgraded to any rom with Android 5.0 or higher successfully installed both the Tasker app and the Utter app? I have been searching and see starting back in November a few posts about this but none have resloved it. I can install either without difficulty from both the google playstore and titanium backup. I can not however install both. Some have suggested doing a fresh install of the 5.0 rom then immediately doing a factory data reset. This didn't work. I have an LG G2 on Sprint and am running lollipop. The rom is great. Having to choose between Tasker and Utter isn't so great.

[Q] Tasker profile help topic

hello everyone , I have been using Tasker for a while and I must say it is one of the best apps I 've ever bought. But I must say that I may have found my nemesis...
I currently work 2 jobs in shifts that are random so I sleep whenever I can. I don't won't to be disturbed while I am sleeping by someone who wants something insignificant.
I want to trigger Tasker profile when I set the alarm so anybody calling me during that time will be blocked, and send him a message that I am sleeping. But if it is important if he / she calls back in 2 - 5 minutes or so the call will go through.
To trigger the task I use AlarmPad but after that... nothing. I know that I have to use a kind of a "for loop" but as I am trying to learn the fundamentals of programming this exceeds me.
Any ideas?
