[Q] Wrong Wifi Country Code topic

I have flashed a multitude of ROMs on my tab S 10.5 since getting it last summer. Somewhere along the line my tab S lost its US identity. About 4-5 ROMs back after installing a new ROM I no longer could see wireless N 5 ghz SSIDs.

On KitKat the fix was easy, wifi/advanced and pick the correct region. On Lollipop that option is no longer present under wifi/advanced (at least under CM12 it isn’t).

For Lollipop I am using a multi step process to fix the country code.

It works, but given how often I flash ROMs it is kind of a PITA.

At one point I installed stock Samsung European firmware without realizing it was European until it was too late. Recently I installed stock Samsung US firmware. That did not fix it.

I do a clean flash every time I install ROMs. I am currently running CM 12 (cm-12-20141226-UNOFFICIAL-chagallwifi.zip) Bootloader is T800XXU1ANK1.

Any tips on how to fix this permanently so I don’t have to apply the fix every time I flash a ROM would be greatly appreciated.

[Q] where is light sensor code in cm/android source topic

Hi guys.
Do you know where is the code responsible for converting raw light sensor readings that it gets from sysfs into values we get through sensor manager? What I've noticed is that values in sysfs are continuous (0-65000) and those from sensor manager are not - all I get is 0, 7, 75, 1000, 10000 (Samsung s advance, Vanir rom). I'd like to improve auto brightness algorithm a bit but for this i need more values...

HTML code available for use in signatures topic

I'm looking to use a simple table in my signature, but I'm not sure how to go about it. There is supposedly a [TABLE] tag in BBCode, but it might be an add-on that isn't supported here. I want to do something like this, which would be a 2-column, 6-row table:

I haven't found anything in my searches that will accomplish this. I might be able to fake it with tabs or empty characters, but it would be much more flexible with something closer to a table function.

[Q] nt code topic

hi, have a problem were every time i reboot i get a warning that doesn't really bother me but i dont understand why i have no code there. i.e mcc/mnc[7260] subset [ff] i have nothing. i did have a problem where i accidently took a ota got stuck in twrp and had to use terminal to write to misc/fota i got it wrong once put a space in the code were i shouldn't have. mabye thats why??
any help appreciated thanks .

[Q] Kernel Source Code for GT-I8262 topic

This is very primary and stupid question but I still need your helping hand.

I am trying on collecting volatile memory form Samsung Galaxy Duos - GT-I8262 running Android version 4.1.2 build version: JZO54K.I8262XXAMG2.

In this link I found kernel source codes for the device, but I am not clear on what to use. There are several source code zip files. For example: GT-I8262_SEA what does stands for?

I think version is build version, none of the match with mine. So using incompatible build version to make loadable kernal module of LiME: Will if destroy my device.
