[Q] Restore Full Stock from GPE Lollipop topic
Guys,
So I've converted my XT1032 to GPE so I could get Lollipop update. But now, I need to restore to original Moto Stock so I can recover my warranty. I heard once I convert GPE and install Lollipop, I can't go back.
Can you guys provide me some tutorial if it's possible.
Lots of thanks.

3 different devices all freezing/crashing since lollipop update topic
So my mom, wife, and sister all have nexus 4 devices. On all three devices since the lollipop update they are ALL occasionally freezing up and i have i force shut them down.
I have manually flashed the 5.0.1 factory image on all three, and doing a fresh install of all apps. All three are completely stock non-rooted.
I though maybe this was something to do with a bad image download do i even re downloaded the image on a different pc with fresh factory image and a fresh android develop kit for adb & fastboot but yet all three devices continue to lock up (about 1-2x /week)
Anyone else experience anything like this?

[Q] No Lollipop OTA topic
Hi all
By now, I would assume that Google has finished the rollout of the lollipop OTA for the Nexus 4 (mako)
but I have a problem
Short Story
I still don't have lollipop OTA because Google thinks I'm rooted
Long Story
My brand new Nexus 4 (arrived 3 days ago) came with 4.2.2
I opened the box and immediately unlocked the bootloader (fastboot oem unlock) and then installed twrp (fastboot flash recovery openrecovery............img)
After that, I went into twrp to check if it was flashed correctly, and it worked fine BUT as I was about to reboot, twrp asked if i wanted to install SuperSU and I accidentally pressed "yes".
after the phone booted, I found it wasn't acually rooted but it installed an app called "SuperSU Installer"
I ignored it, and went through 4 ota updates (from 4.2.2 to 4.4.2) and the otas stopped (there was not updates available after 4.4.2)
After the updates, I found that the ota have removed twrp and was overwritten by stock recovery SO I went back to bootloader and flashed twrp again (which worked just fine).
Then I done some seaching on Google and found that I'm not getting lollipop becasue I have some traces of rooting (the "SuperSu Installer" that somehow managed to survive 4 OTA's)
I went no to flash the full root (the actual SuperSu) and then do a "Full Unroot" from there (worked fine) and the phone is now unrooted.
BUT still not Lollipop OTA
I gave up and tried to do the update manually (Downloaded flashalbe ZIP from Android Police) but TWRP refuses to flash it :(
The question is, what to do now?

Oneplus One Lollipop WiFi issue. topic
I have been posting this in many oneplus one kernel/rom threads but no one was able to track it down. So I'm posting it here.
So I'm having WiFi issue and I can't figure out how to fix it. After about half hour my WiFi disconnects (even during apps update in playstore but the screen is off), It keeps disconnecting after ~20mins and it drains my mobile data (i always have turned it on along with wifi, so when I leave home I will still get connection). I've been using Temasek build with AK 50, 60, 61, 65 and stock and now I tried Blisspop, both stock and ak068.
This does not affect kitkat roms (stock 44S). I thought it was an app but I rebooted to emergency mode which has no custom apps at all and this problem was still there. It isn't my local network either because I haven't changed anything on my router since a year now also it doesn't occur on other devices or kitkat rom on opo.
Here is the logcat from Temasek + boefflo kernel - I have enabled WiFi and left it enabled for whole night. It have been disconnected/disabled itself
https://www.dropbox.com/s/3txx4w09bq...axvet.txt?dl=0
Here is blisspop clean flash, stock kernel https://www.dropbox.com/s/l592uisl9m...bliss.txt?dl=0
blisspop + ak068 https://www.dropbox.com/s/wvs6hja49r...9ak68.txt?dl=0
So I have found why it disconnects in both roms. But can't figure out how to fix it. I have found solutions for ubuntu only.
After my research in all three logcats I found this:
Which refers to some authentications issue, but on ubuntu OS.
http://superuser.com/questions/15242...fi-ap-reason-6
http://askubuntu.com/questions/45442.../471458#471458
Right now I'm checking AK.039 kernel which is 3 weeks old.

s3 9300 to lollipop topic
Newbi here looking for some help.
I have a galaxy s3 i9300 and I want to go to lollipop. The flash counter was tripped twice on the phone by the store I bought the phone from, so it doesnt automatically update.
I dont care about losing any and all data on the device. Can someone point me to the simplest way to do this? I did search but getting lost with some of the terms and unsure what applies to me. The only thing I need to make sure of is the phone still has no issues when I use different sims when I switch carriers in different countries when traveling.
Thanks for the help

Which is the best camera (paid or free or modded) for Lollipop AOSP roms ? topic
simple question - I have a lollipop based ROM and I know that I dont have the same drivers as XCam so quality will suffer.
But which camera app will give me the highest quality on Lollipop AOSP ? Do note that I'm not talking about which is the best app in terms of features, usability, etc. .... but simple image quality.
As of now, Google Camera seems to my (untrained) eyes as the best option. Sefnap's modded stock camera seems good, but on Lollipop it becomes a little unusable.

Debloating Lollipop Note 3 (SM-N900) topic
As many of us know the apps that can be debloated from a typical Samsung rom using Titanium Backup. It has been a common practice so far. On recent stock Lollipop stock rom it has been experienced that debloating is causing fcs even crash sometimes. I had a crash on stock Lollipop after debloating from Titanium and cleaning cache from recovery to remove residue. However on latest custom rom by dr.ketan rom 15. I have been able to remove them easily. I request the members to share their opinions here regarding the methods of debloating. It is going to take time for developers to deodexing and making mods. Meanwhile I suggest to find ways of easy debloating..

[Q] Rooting Oppo Find 7 to Lollipop version topic
[B]Hello Everyone!
I am new to XDA developers site and this is my first post on this website...
I am having oppo find 7 with android version 1.2.7, I found that there is a custom ROM available to switch to Lollipop version. While following installing instructions I found that at a point where we have to get into Custom recovery mode and then after wiping cache we have to select the image file to begin the rooting process. But the moment I click on the image file which I have downloaded it says "installation failed". I am not sure whether I downloaded the right file or not. Can anyone please help me with some screen-shots on 'which file to be downloaded from the "pan.baidu.com/s/1o66x7n0" website.
I have limited knowledge on rooting, so please help me with screen-shots or stepwise procedure to be followed.
I also found that when I click on the downloading link I get 2 buttons for downloading one in blue another in grey, i selected grey one(which resulted in installation failure). I also see there is a folder updated with the name "CM12-Find7-wuxianlin" which has many image files(dont know their use).
Your help is much appreciated!!!
Can anyone please help me with some screen-shots on 'which file to be downloaded from the "pan.baidu.com/s/1o66x7n0" website.

lollipop root on G900A discussion topic
On the G900A shipped from AT&T we have a locked bootloader, and there is no known existing workaround to unlock it correct?
So given that, root was achieved , then safestrap was developed so we can currently flash roms that use the stock bootloader and kernel image, however we can customize the OS as long as the kernel and loader are untouched.
If the bootloader stays locked, what is known regarding safestrap and lollipop?
Can we still rollback the stock kernel to achieve root, then roll forward and keep it?
If that is the case, then when the stock AT&T lollipop is released, some level of ROM development can occur?
I am confused somewhat by all the discussions surrounding this, and didn't see any threads to discuss it specifically.
