Booting to fastboot topic

Hi,

After doing a factory reset, I disabled root in SuperSU. Upon restarting, the device refuses to boot and is stuck on booting animation.

I was trying to get into fastboot but had no success yet.

Can anyone help me with this?

[q] not booting in my trend plus topic

Hi developers
I bought a new SD card, 32 gb for my samsung galaxy trend plus. A toshiba one. It was fine untill i saw that my screen was on, but black. Couldnt do anything. Rebooted and when booted back it was fine. But after some time it got black again. Rebooting wouldnt change anything. I see the samsung logo but i cant see my bootanimation. It is just a black screen. I removed the SD and re-tried, i thought that may be the issue. But nothing. I got to recovery and realised its all good. 100% functional. In fact i could mount my SD and do pretty much anything. My phone is rooted. What to do?
I would prefer not to format because I have very valuable pictures and music in my internal and apps in my SD aswell. Thanks in advance.
I am using linux so if any programs should be downloaded please indicate me the linux ones. Thanks so much and sorry if im being greedy or what

[A700] Booting failed topic

Hi to XDA comunity
... and happy festive season

I tried to install a new ROM. So, I followed tutorials and I have a huge problem

I passed to unlock the tablet
But, when I tried to install the new Recovery, the installation failed and now, the tablet doesn't want to boot :(

When I boot normaly, in recovery mode or Fastboot mode, I get this message :

Code:

Bootloader Version JB-653b3d3 (Unlock Mode)
Entering boot menu mode
Booting failed
Bootloader VJB-653b3d3(UnlockMode): Starting Fastboot USB download protocol

When I send "Fastboot device", the device is shown

When I send "Fastboot flash recovery twrp-2.6.3.0_a700.img"

Code:

sending 'recovert' <5736 KB>...
But still indefinitely
So I stop and retry and I obtain
downloading 'boot.img'...
FAILED <commande write failed <Unknow error>>
finished. total time: 0.???s

i tried to erase recovery and retry.
Tried with several USB cables.

I don't know what to do...
I guess it's a fastboot problem ? How can I found a fastboot file ?

Thanks for any help !

[Q] LG G2(F320L) not booting after OTA with stock recovery with TWRP aboot topic

Hi,
First of all i committed a mistake of thinking that with TWRP aboot + stock Recovery i will be able to do OTA upgrade, which made my phone not booting, undetectable by computer and majorly not getting the LG Flash download mode by pressing any combination of keys., Stucks at LG logo.

Device: LG-G2(F320L)
KDZ stock: F320L21V_00.kdz
1. Flashed this kdz using LG Flash Tool 2014.
2. Flashed from F320L_AutoRec.apk, the images only aboot, and recovery.
3. From DorimanX project generated the boot.img with StockROM(F320L21V_00.kdz) version bootimage RAMDISK.
Everything was fine., till then.

After that, i got the OTA pop up., So, thought of installing OTA. As I had already faced the TWRP bootloop once and in some post i remember i read flashing OTA needs stock recovery image. Here is the place I commited the mistake. So, signed the stock recovery with aboot of TWRP using loki_flash. Accepted OTA. Thats it.

From then, no booting, no recovery, no adb, no fastboot, and unfortunately NO LG DOWNLOAD MODE also it goes.
When i try to go TWRP, it stucks up after the initial TWP message.
And pressing some key combination, the device goes to LG service mode, and showing the IMEI and some list of 3 options in korean which i dont understand. By pressing any of the option device reboots and stucks with LG logo.
Even my device is not shown up in the ubuntu, when i checked "dmesg".
Can anyone help to get the device into Either download mode or fixing the boot.

Secure Booting Unsuccessful error topic

Folks, I have seen some threads on here so I will understand that you will probably hate me but seriously none of those did well for me. So that's why I am creating mine. As an owner of LG G2 mini I had been closely focusing on CM12 progress re lollipop that InvaderJohn was working on. There was a camera overexposure issue so I tried to use some working lib files and vendor/lib files and created a flashable file for TWRP recovery. I screwed it up as upong the flash my phone with CM12 didn't boot up. I wasn't able to get into recover thru adb so I pressed volume down and middle button and got myself into factory mode. I did factory reset and was in TWRP recovery again. Good. Then I reflashed the phone and there was an error saying that secure booting unsuccessful. I have LG Flashtools and tot file with dll for my LG D620fr on my laptop. This method I used once when getting the phone bricked and it worked and I was able to install stock 4.4.2 ROM. But this time... not sure why but the tot flash got stuck with 94% and while the phone was supposed to get restarted it didn't and the message above of the secure etc. popped up. I am able to get into my TWRP recovery (weird) but nothing else. I suspect I got my bootloader locked. Is there any way how to figure this out, please? I was trying the fastboot method but my phone is unrecognizeable. Any help is much appreciated.

Hey guys, I was planning to unlock my HTC Desire C using Desire_C_All-In-One_Kit_v2.0 but every time i try to unlock the boot-loader it gets stuck showing a red exclamation mark after showing the green circulating arrows. I tried several ways to get into recovery via USB/ADB and using the hardware buttons. Please someone help me out. Thanks in advance.

[Q] Milestone 2 - CM11 - Update Failure - Phone not booting up topic

A year or two so ago I updated my Motorola Milestone 2 to CyanogenMod, Android 4.1 I think, with no trouble.
I though that I'd take advantage of the CM11 (cm-11-20141003-UNOFFICIAL-milestone2.zip) and I attempted to upgrade to this.
I found that, after booting to the recovery utility, that would not accept this zip file. I noticed that czechop says:

Install my CM10.2 version >= 07.11.2013 first

So I installed cm-10.2-20140312-UNOFFICIAL-milestone2.zip and that went like a breeze. The phone booted up with the new version of Android. I then booted this into the recovery utility and found a new style of this ('Teamworks', I think) with a graphical interface. I found that this liked the cm11 zip file and it installed it without any apparent problem - it reported success and gave me two options - 'clear cache dalvik' (or something very similar), and 'reboot'. I opted for the clear cache, and that seemed to go OK, then I opted for 'reboot'.

This is where my heart sank, because the phone started to boot with the Motorola 'M' logo, then that faded out, then back in, then out. I see no little coloured LED light, and the phone seems to cycle around with the 'M' display, never getting anywhere.

What should I do now? I tried to boot the phone into the original Motorola recovery, holding down the keyboard 'X' key whilst switching on, but that just brings up a little picture of an orange triangle with a '!' in it.

Regards,
David

[Q] Rooted Galaxy S4 not fully booting. topic

Hi everyone. I've been meaning to sell my old S4 for awhile now and I haven't been keeping up with the root scene, so clearly I might have screwed something up. I was originally running my S4 rooted with Hyperdrive S15 (Android 4.3) with TWRP + Safestrap 3.71. I deleted the hyperdrive slot and booted into the stock ROM. After that, I used TWRP to wipe everything (dalvik cache/cache/data/factory reset) then after rebooting the phone, it just stays loads up the "Samsung" Screen with the custom symbol under it. I've tried looking at guides online to try to unbrick/fix this phone, but still have no idea what to do. I've tried booting it into download mode, but for some reason, it only goes into recovery mode (I do Vol Up + Home + Power, then as soon as it vibrates, I don't press the power button anymore). I was trying to use Odin but I can't get it to go into download mode, so when I plug it in, Odin doesn't see it. Can anyone give me some ideas/info on how to fix this?

Booting into fastboot? topic

I started my phone up the other day and it went straight into fastboot and said flash failure at the bottom. I thought it was no problem so I restarted it and did it normally and worked, But now my phone died so I tried recharging it but it sits at the fastboot screen and never seems to charge. I tried connecting it to RSD but for some reason it's not showing up. Anyone got a solution?
