[Bootanimation] Dragon Ball & Co topic

Hi everyone,

I was thinking about to create this Thread for selfmade Bootanimations for our Oneplus One.
Those Bootanimations should made from Animes & Comics.

I made one from Dragon ball Z and want to share it with you guys.
(First created Bootanimation)

Bootanimation Zip in TW NK4 / 4.4.4 topic

Hey everyone. The old flash CWM_CustomBootanimation_44_Enable.zip that worked with 4.4.2 no longer
works with 4.4.4. Just shows a blank screen.

I've been unable to find a working confirmed flashable that can renable boot animation zip functionality
for 4.4.4 and above. Does anyone have any idea how i can modify the old mod or know of a already existing fix?

Welcome to my collection of Bootanimations. I will be posting my created and ported bootanimations here. I also accept requests and ports, so if you see a nice bootanimation for some other phone, ask me to make it for our phone. I used to port them previously for HTC Pico, but now that I've bought the Redmi 1s, i will be making a few for this too.

Index:
Work in Progress

Instructions:
Download the zip file.
Rename it as bootanimation.zip
Go to /system/media and replace the existing file (make a backup of previous if you wish to revert)
Set permissions to rw-r--r--
Done. Now restart and enjoy!

I tried every way for this like flashing the zip,replacing the file in system/media,using boot animation changer app but nothing helped.
I am on indian XT1033 running 5.0 brazilian soak test.

Beats Audio Logo And Bootanimation for all android one devices topic

Beats Audio Logo.bin file and Bootanimation file for all Android one Devices Micromax Canvas A1, Karbonn Sparkle V
and Spice Dream Uno :D

After download Extract the zip file somewhere
Now there will be Beatslogo.zip file also extract it and you get logo.bin file.

NOTE:- DON'T USE THESE FILES ON DEVICES OTHER THAN SHOWN ABOVE!!!!
ALSO DON'T BLAME FOR ANY DISASTER CAUSED BY YOUR NOOBNESS!!! :mad::mad::silly:

How to Flash logo.bin file:- First install drivers for your device ......
Step1 Connect your device to your PC in fastboot mode
Step2 Open cmd in ADB folder. (If you don't have then google it and download it)
Step3 Copy logo.bin in ADB folder.
Step4 Type command :-
fastboot flash logo logo.bin
Step5 Type command :-
fastboot reboot
Yeah... :D You have successfully Flashed. :good:
NOTE:- YOUR DEVICES SHOULD BE OEM UNLOCKED

What to do with bootanimation.zip file :silly: -----
Step 1:- Root your device (Just google it)
Step 2:- Connect your device with pc in USB debugging mode.
Step 3:- Open cmd in ADB folder and type commmand ----
adb remount
Step 4:- Now copy bootanimation.zip file in ADB folder .
Step 4:- Now type command :-
adb push bootanimation /system/media/
Step 5:- Now Reboot Your Device and U get that Animation ;)

{BOOTANIMATION] Kindle Fire (600x1024) Ubuntu Bootanimation topic

I'm going to start developing bootanimations for Kindle Fire First Gen, And practically any tablet with an aspect ratio of 600x1024 (If it can run on a Kindle, it shouldn't really swamp anything)

This one is in the style of Ubuntu's default plymouth boot screen. I made it in Adobe Photoshop.

**All images are reduced to JPG, so as to not swamp the poor Kindle**

lollipop custom bootanimation in /data/local topic

is it that in lollipop 5.0 custom bootanimation in /data/local is not allowed any more?
i tried with a bootanimation.zip file that worked in kitkat 4.4, and the stock bootanimation was shown nevertheless..
(phone rooted and bootanimation.zip permission changed to 0644.. the file worked in nexus 4 kitkat so its not currupt..)

any hint on the issue? tia..
(this happened in my nexus 4 phone, but a user of nexus 5 also encountered this issue, so i guess i could post here for an answer..)
