[Q] Upside Down Camera & No Screen Rotation topic

Hi,

Could you guys please help me out for Upside Down Camera & No Screen Rotation in my Grand 2.

After googling for a few hours, I found out the possible solution that I need to calibrate gyroscope but there is no sensitivity settings in motion menu and nowhere else.

Please help me to fix my newly bought Grand 2.

[Q] Sometimes shut down wnen take a foto with flash? topic

Hello,
First - sorry for my bad English!
These days I bought used ONE m7.Previous owner told me that the phone was not used for more than a month. Now sometimes, only sometimes, when take a shot with flash the phone shut down. After power ON the battery is with more than 10% lower than before this. Hard reset not solved the problem. Is there a hard- or soft- problem?

No navigation buttons or drop down bar Lollipop topic

So i tried a custom ROM to try and fix the lag and slowness of the G3 to no avail
i then decided to go back to stock so i downloaded UK 16G D85510A_00.kdz stock ROM

Flashed it with flashtool all fine although an old version booted and working fine

I then connected phone to LG PC suite and proceeded with the update to Lollipop 5.0 as i cant find a stock 5.0 KDZ file

now running 5.0 kernel 3.4.0
build No lrx21r.a1417604035
Software version v20E

Problem is as in title i have absolutely no on screen navigation buttons and i also cannot drag down notification bar
No icons or clock displayed at top nothing just full 100% screen usage
so as soon as i go into any menu i cant go back
volume buttons don't work but if i long press volume down camera opens

This is beyond weird

[Q] No fastboot menu on Atrix (when pressing power on and vol down) topic

Hello,

I've searched for an answer but no luck as yet, hence posting.

I am following the instructions to flash CM onto my Atrix using an Xubuntu computer. However, I cannot get into the 'fastboot' menu on the device itself (pressing Power on + Vol down). I have a YouTube video of the problem, but I can't post links to external sites as less than 10 posts.

Incidentally, pressing Power on + Vol up does take me to the correct 'Starting RSD protocol support' menu.

Here's the instructions that I've been following:

Unlocking the Bootloader with sbf_flash (Linux & OS X) You will need fastboot on the computer to unlock the bootloader of the Motorola Atrix 4G. Follow the Android SDK guide, to get fastboot on the computer. Download sbf_flash and the appropriate unlockable bootloader: sbf_flash: Download AT&T Atrix 4G Only: Unlockable Bootloader: Download md5: a5da47565160e0f95b84a1e769b9028b International Variants Only: Unlockable Bootloader: Download md5: f609dbc4c5842f9654e44a1980375100 Unzip the sbf_flash zipfile. Unzip the bootloader and place it somewhere easy to access. Power off the Motorola Atrix 4G. Boot into RSD Protocol Mode by holding down Up Volume and the Power button. Connect the Motorola Atrix 4G to the computer via USB. On the computer, open terminal and run the following commands: chmod +x sbf_flash ./sbf_flash <SBF File name here>.sbf It should take a few minutes to flash the unlockable bootloader, and the device may reboot multiple times. Once RSD lite reports that it's finished (or appears to be waiting for the device even though the device is booting into android), the device should be powered off. Pull the battery and power back on while holding the Volume Down button. Once you see the bootloader screen with some text options, cycle through the options using the Volume Down and select "Fastboot Protocol". If your device has "fail to boot" message, try to pull the battery and power back on while holding the Volume Up button.<<< This is where the problem occurs

Razr Maxx XT910 bricked and sbf.droid-developers.org and eternityproject.eu are DOWN topic

Hi,
I made a mistake by trying to flash my phone with DROID_RAZR_Utility_Jellybean_XT912 and bricked it.
Now when I try to power up device I get:

AP Fastboot Flash Mode (S) (Flash Failure)
OA.74
eMMC Info: 16G
To return to normal mode - first press power key to power down
Device is LOCKED. Status Code: 0

Battery OK
OK to Program
Transfer mode:
USB Connect


When I try Normal power up from Boot mode I get:

AP Fastboot Flash Mode (S) (Flash Failure)

To return to normal mode - first press power key to power down

Transfer mode:

invalid CG OTV (CG: system): invalid SP data

I went through many forums and fount few solutions, BUT basically all solutions require download right stock ROM and try to flash phone using RDS lite or EternityProject Flash-IT. And this is biggest problem-
sbf.droid-developers is down;
eternityproject is down too and ALL discussions point to these pages for downloads (it seems that everybody thought that these pages would work forever) there are NO mirrors or alternatives.

So basically I am in the dead end.
Perhaps somebody knows alternative download sites or can share needed files???

I have Motorola Razr Maxx XT910 (not XT912 :( ) I live in East Europe (EU)and I need 672.180.41.XT910.Retail.en.EU (at least I think it will work for me) firmware with XML file for RDS Lite flashing, or EternityProject Flash-IT tools.

[Q] Videos that play just fine on the phone, plays upside down on the computer topic

Hi guys,
I'm having a little annoying problem with my M8.
Every time I record a video with the phone in landscape mode, the video play just fine on the phone no matter the orientation,and it also play fine on computer as long as it was originally recorded with the camera on the left side.

Instead, if the video was recorded with the camera oriented on the right side, then the video still play fine on the phone, but will play upside down on computer.

Am I missing anything?:confused:

Diagonal swipe (multitask) DIFFICULT - pulls down notification bar instead topic

Any tips? I find this very difficult to do reliably and rather annoying!!

It's even worse when you have a case on with a lip at the edge.
