[Q] live streaming sports apps topic

I've read that android doesn't support HLS streams and yet both the MLB & NBA apps on the firetv suggest that they support DVR type functions during live games. Can another confirm if this is the case? And, if it is the case does anyone know how MLB & NBA are making this work?

laggy/chunky sound on 128kb streaming... topic

When playing music locally I dont have an issue. But when streaming 128k radio streams on apps like Tunein radio, it gets a bit jerky/chunky. This happens when screen is off or app is in the background. As if the cpu cant handle it, which Im sure is not the issue here. Any solutions?
