Bought a OnePlus One (Chinese version) from a guy locally and he said it wouldn't work on Mobilicity/Wind Mobile (Toronto, Canada). I have a Fido SIM so when I went to buy it, I tested it and it worked fine for maybe 30 mins. Since then I'm pretty much holding onto a paperweight because I have no reception and for some reason it wouldn't update itself to XNPH25R, which it downloaded on its own. I've gone through MANY forums and read up information but regardless whatever I try, it just doesn't work. The update fails. I've tried downloading the latest software from Cyanogen's website (cm-11.0-XNPH44S-bacon-signed-fastboot.zip) but this installation fails as well.
When I try to update using the OTA (XNPH25R) I get the following error message: Finding update package... Opening update package... Verifying update package... Installing update... assert failed: apply_patch_check("/system/app/VoicePlus.apk","84a9a87*******************") E:Error in /cache/cm-bacon-03d77315ea-to-d22b777afa-signed.zip (Status 7) Installation aborted.
At the top I have the following options: reboot system now apply update wipe data/factory reset wipe cache partition wipe media
When I try to update using the latest software from Cyanogen, I get the following error: - - Install /data/media/0/download Finding update package... opening update package... Verifying update package... E:footer is wrong E:signature verification failed Installation aborted.
So does the factory unlocked oneplus one work good with tmobiles 4G lte bands, I currently have the att note 4 and has terrible connectivity and signal strength with tmobiles network never had issues with tmobiles phones them selves had great signal till I bought a factory unlocked att note 4 it works but the signal is bad, I want the one plus one but anyone use it with tmobile and how is the signal compared to a tmobile phone?
I have been posting this in many oneplus one kernel/rom threads but no one was able to track it down. So I'm posting it here.
So I'm having WiFi issue and I can't figure out how to fix it. After about half hour my WiFi disconnects (even during apps update in playstore but the screen is off), It keeps disconnecting after ~20mins and it drains my mobile data (i always have turned it on along with wifi, so when I leave home I will still get connection). I've been using Temasek build with AK 50, 60, 61, 65 and stock and now I tried Blisspop, both stock and ak068. This does not affect kitkat roms (stock 44S). I thought it was an app but I rebooted to emergency mode which has no custom apps at all and this problem was still there. It isn't my local network either because I haven't changed anything on my router since a year now also it doesn't occur on other devices or kitkat rom on opo.

Hi There! I'm trying to install MIUI v5 custom rom on my OnePlus One using twrp recory and while installing I'm getting strange and unexpected error. The error says "E: Error executing updater binary in zip ' /sdcard/mini_OnePlus_4.12.5_58afb70ff5_4.4.zip'" I checked the other threads in this forum which says something related to changing updater scripts and I tried doing that too but I'm still getting the same error. I also tried installing some other version of MIUI but it too shows same error. Please suggest me how to get rid of this and install the rom. Please find attach the image of the error.
Hi, I can't find a working link without virus or existing link for INTHIAANO's toolbox V5 for the oneplus one. His links don't seem to work and I can't reply to the threads since I"m new and this is the only place to do it. I like to root my phone and like to use the latest toolbox V5. Thanks!
I am having the Indian OnePlus One, which DOES NOT get OTA updates. How should I about upgrading to the latest official build of CM 11S, without having to wipe everything?
Is there already a thread for OnePlus One screen responsiveness issues running on 44S? I've had a look but haven't found any.
I'm experiencing screen issues:
Two separate taps are sometimes registered as a swipe
Sometimes a single tap is not detected (hard to reproduce, though)
I have made two videos in preparation for a warranty claim, but I want to see if there's anything I can do before having to send it in for a month. The first video is of me typing - not using swipe/glide gestures, only tapping normally. On several occasions it thinks I'm swiping, however.

OnePlus have admitted that there is a problem, but I heard they completely fixed it with the 44S update. Could it be that there's still something wrong, or maybe I have defective hardware?
I have just started using one plus one and i am new to XDA-Developers** and after tranfering the data to one plus.i was checking the Developer options and accidentaly i selected the(Wedge System-5 minutes system ANR) and my phone was kind of frozen for sometime.i restarted the phone and since then my pics and music library is not showing in the pics or music player.i can see it in the file manager though.anyone please help me...
First of all. I live in Japan and I pay for Unlimited Data on my Pocket Wifi I want to take the USIM out of that to use it in my phone. Is there any way I can do this? I put the USIM In my OnePlus and I get 'service' but no Data. I've used the search feature on the forums with no luck. Thank you!
I came across this new brand called WA on the internet. They seem to launch a new phone for just 6 with a 5.5" inch full-hd display, 1.7GHz Octa-core 64-bit processor (Mediatek) and 2GB RAM. Camera is 13 megapixels and comes from Sony. It also has full 4G support. Does anybody know more about this phone or brand because it seems that there is not a lot know about this brand outside of China. What do you guys think, a decent OnePlus alternative? :D
