Bugs as stated in the ROM thread (26/12)
- Digitalizer firmware update (Kernel "bug", its missing at all.)
- Model name (Redmi 1S is missing from MIUI 6.)
- Vibrator
- Camera
- OTG (Reported by: @bhushan2k)

Overall this ROM is usable as a daily driver (i'm using it now) unless you take a lot if photos and selfies :D because the camera didn't work for now.

[Q] Asus Transformer tf201 running Android 4.1.1 and icade topic

Hey guys. I have been through a dozen threads but no solution to my problem.

I have a Transformer tf201 running Android 4.1.1

I have been trying to pair my icade.

When i try through bluetooth on the tablet it gives me the 6 digit code, i enter it, and nothing.

So i downloaded Bluez IME. The problem here is, when i go to select device it never finds the icade. It just sits there searching forever (and i did the 4 buttons on the icade).

Can anyone help?

Running Mokee - Android 5.0 soon? topic

I'm currently pleased with Mokee rom (4.4.4) on my beloved Note LTE. Is there any chance of an AOSP (or CyanogenMod port) for Android Lollipop? Will Mokee be updated? Could we port from another device? I would do I myself if I had the skills, but alas...

Application Behavior When Running In Background topic

Ok here's the situation:
When i drive i use the Tomtom Go mobile app as "main" sat-nav.
Then i use camsam plus which runs in the background and, with a small widget, warns me of speedcameras.
I also wanted to use the icoyote app at the same time but there's a problem: the app stays in the background when there are no speedcameras ahead (which is fine) but when i'm approaching one it will "take over" the screen to warn me (so it's a visual and audible warning).
I was wondering if there's a way (there's none in the app settings) to keep the app in the background while approaching a speedcamera and leave the tomtom on screen (with only the speedcamera audible warning enabled).
I was also wondering if there's a way to keep waze in the background (the same way of the icoyote app) and keep the audible alerts (police, hazard ecc..) working.

Device Memory running low in the first days ZTE mini topic

Hey,

After having the device for a few days, I received a notification that the device storage was almost full. I realised that this was true and I placed some applications in the internal storage.

However, still the device storage doesn't have much capacity and many applications cannot be moved. It's 6.58 gb with runntime space 4.12 and apps 1.8gb already.

Does this happen to everyone or it has to do with my rom?

And can I do anything? Because soon it will be again full, I guess.

Can anyone please translate this error message so that I can track down the app or process causing it?

application name not found: android.database.CursorWindowAllocationException:C ursor window allocation of 2048 kb failed. # Open Cursors=556 (# cursors opened by this proc=556)

I updated to the latest 4.4.4 and wiped and installed the Rom.. the apps were installed from the play store.

It occurs randomly as a popup on the launcher.

[Q] What tutorial should I follow in order to unlock this device running GB? topic

I feel a bit overwhelmed with all the tutorials that there are and I am not sure which one I should follow.

A friend of mine gave me his Galaxy Note N7000 because it was painfully slow. I have unlocked/rooted/flashed etc. several times other devices, but not with one as old as this one. It runs Android 2.3.6 and it is not OTA upgradeable for some reason. I Just want to flash a stable CM 10 ROM and leave it like that for the rest of its days.

Rooting the Sprint Variant and running Xposed/private mode/S-health topic

There are a number of threads about these two topics, I am going to consolidate my findings here.

First off root works great on the Sprint variant, secondly so does Xposed with S-Health and private mode. You just have to be careful how you set them up. There have been a lot of posts about freezing S-health and Private mode then clearing data but from my experience that is hit or miss. There are four basic steps to getting everything working and it should be done from a factory reinstall of software.

Root using Chainfire autoroot for Sprint and Teamwin 2.8.1.1 for Sprint (NOT THE RECOVERY IN THE EASY STEP ROOT THREAD) It will fail just pull the battery and boot to download to install the recovery (buttons HOME, VOLUME DOWN, AND POWER) then install supersu

Download and install Xposed (not Wanam) download and install XSecure Health module install Xposed framework reboot

Activate Xsecure Health module reboot

Clear Data for Health Service and S-Health reboot

Run Private mode and set up, run S-Health and setup.

Setup your Google and Samsung accounts

If you do these steps exactly without doing anything else I can promise you will have a rooted Sprint version with Xposed, Shealth, and private mode working. When I say exactly I am serious there are a lot of things that can/will mess you up like

Signing into google or samsung on reboot after installing factory software
Shortcutting by doing a factory reset instead of a factory software reinstall
Restoring your data Nandroid backup (Use Titanium etc for a program by program reinstall of apps)

BTW the problem here is a little bit deeper than uninstall xposed everything works. There is a something that is changed in the software with either exposed or wanam that can permanently kill private mode until you do a factory install. At the moment I am doing Nandroids before any change I make in Xposed.
