[Q] Brick Through Fonter topic

Hey Guys

I'm new so I don't know where to put this but I bought a new Tablet from Gigaset recently.
I googled around looking for a root and found one. I rooted it, then installed the Xposed
Installer. This all worked fine, so I downloaded Fonter. I changed the Font a few times and
it worked fine. Then I enabled expert mode in the settings, so that it would not only
replace the normal font, but also italic and bold fonts. Then I restarted it, and now it won't
boot. The startup sound plays, and my custom bootlogo appears, and then it never moves
on. I tried using Funtdo and Oneclick unbrick, but neither worked. I have unlocked the
bootloader, but I haven't installed any custom roms. It runs on Android 4.2.2.

Any Help would be gladly appreciated.:fingers-crossed:

Root through adb ? topic

I have a problem, hopefully someone can help. I flashed the gpe 5.0.1 flashable zip, works great, only it erased my recovery :(

Now that would be no problem usually, only I cannot get fastboot driver to install on my pc tp flash recovery. So now i am stuck with 5.0.1 gpe with no way to root and get twr back. I do have working adb on my pc so hoped there could be some way to get the su binary to system/bin ?

I don't know but A-GPS is not working in my device after updating to chinese MIUI6 unstable version. Only my phone is able to identify location through GPS which takes time. Can anyone help me to troubleshoot my A-GPS?

Encryption through Android and flashing roms? External SD Card topic

welp I may be screwed, but thought I would ask the pros.

I always back up my sdcard personal files, but the media files (music I don't). I have a 128GB card and I am trying to save myself some rebuild time.

I encrypted my external 128gb sd card in android (I have my data backed up thank goodness), but I have full wiped the phone, to install a new rom (full wipe and factory reset).

I have rest the screen password to the same encrypted password, yet when I reboot the phone (installed new rom from separate external sd card since TWRP wont write from an encrypted sd card), the phone is fine, but the card is still being shown as "checking sdcard for errors"

is there any way to restore access to the encrypted card since I full wiped? I know that I can just reformat the card back to fat32, but I really don't want to sit and transfer 100gb of flac files again.

Can't copy files to SD card through USB topic

I'm trying to copy over files from my Windows computer to my Note 4 so I can quickly view things through the Gear VR. I have USB debugging turned on and it connects to my computer in camera mode. When I navigate to my SD card and open up the Oculus folder I see all the folders (360Photos, 360Videos, etc) however if I open any folder they all say 0 items and are blank and it won't let me copy files into any of these folders. Anybody know what is going on here?

Note 3 Screen replaced not no sound through earpeace topic

Hi All

Im after some assistance. I have just replace the screen in the Note 3 and all was looking fine until the first call and the ear peace does not seem to be working. I have replaced the earpeace module with a new one ans still the same issue.

the headphones work fine, loud speaker fine,, bluetooth headset fine.

any ideas

Notifications through bluetooth headset topic

When using my bluetooth headset with my HTC One M8 none of the email or sms notifications come through the headset. I was looking for a setting for it and didn't come across anything. Is there a fix for this ? or is it a feature HTC left out ?
