Blu Life One M topic

Welcome to the BLU Life One M Thread: Where you can find all sorts of information about this device.

***IMPORTANT READ BELOW***
Before we begin, to relieve some confusion with the information inside of the the links below: The BLU LIFE ONE M is a device very similar to another phone called the Canvas Magnus A117 or should I rather say that device is very similar to the Life One M, anyways I wanted to let you guys know because on some of the links posted down below you will notice that some of the ROMS/Root tools are for the Canvas Magnus A117 but do not be afraid. THIS IS NORMAL , the Micromax Canvas Magnus A117 is the exactly the same as the Blu Life One M. They both run on a Mediatek MT6589T A7 quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. So ALL of the custom ROMS out for that device should & will work on the device

Amazing Battery life on my REDMI 1s.. topic

Hi friends,I'm going to share my experience of amazing battery life on my Redmi 1s..
What I did to get amazing battery life and better multitasking on my Redmi:-

1)I flashed the latest Mokee rom (Release version-272 MB) on my Device.

2)Flashed the Powersaver thermal config Mod.You'll find it at the end of this post.

3)I installed Trickster Mod Kernel setting APK from the play store and I did below modifications to it

a)Set the CPU max and min frequency to 300MHZ and 1094 MHZ.Turned on the CPU frequency lock.
b)Governer set to ONDEMAND and schedular to ROW.
c)Turned on MP-Decision,Set Multicore Power saving mode to 2 and turned on temperature throttle.
d)Set the GPU max frequency to 320 MHZ and governor to ONDEMAND .
(Set it to 450MHZ if you game a lot however it donot cause serious battery changes as per my observations)

4)Install greenify from Play store and hibernate most of the apps That causes cpu wakes (I greenified all downloaded apps )

5) Thats it you are ready to get most out of your redmi's battery. Please comment your experiences here.:D

[Q] What factory apps are better disabled for improved battery life? topic

Hey guys. I disabled some of the apps that my N5 came with such as the typical 'Play' apps. I also disabled Gmail, E-mail, Google Earth and Google+. I'm currently on KitKat 4.4.4. I am not really sure about disabling news & weather app and turning off report locations on Google Now. What do you guys think? Is it worth disabling all these wonderful apps? Should I enable any of these apps I mentioned? My menu looks pretty empty now and I think it no longer has the same flavour as before. Less apps makes it less complex.
Also, What about Google Chrome? I think it definitely drains my battery pretty bad. Do you guys know any settings for Chrome to make it less drainable or some app substitute for it?
Thank you.

Battery Life Tips For The Galaxy Note 3 topic

Just putting some tips out there for note 3 users to save some more battery life throughout the day. Thought id give my top 5 that actually help nothing stupid like turning off wifi etc. Anyways here they are

1.Deleting any apps your currently not using that are taking up space. Speaking of apps turn off the app notifications on the apps you are currently using since this uses extra battery and is quite pointless.

2.Download battery doctor (battery saver) from the app store its a free app that will help save battery on your note 3. (really no reason not too since its free)

3.Avoid Live wallpapers, live widgets, instead set Dark wallpapers , it will save battery .

4.Enable Power Saving mode from settings , this will auto optimize the cpu performance, screen power, heptic feedback . You can go Power saving mode when your battery life is below 30 percent .

5.Last but not least turn off that auto sync option. Sync things manually and you will be amazed how much longer the battery life on your samsung galaxy note 3 will be.:cowboy:

[Q] Google Gear and battery life topic

I was wondering, does anyone use a Android Wear smartwach with the OPO and could share some experiences with the battery life? I just ordered a OPO and was wondering how much battery it drains. I currently have a Moto G (2014) paired with a LG G Watch R and it affects the battery life quite a lot (more than I expected to be honest).

Cheers! :)
