upgrading to prerooted stock images. topic

So I was having a little insomniac theater and decided to upgrade one of my fire tv' s. and install clockwork mod and bootmenu.
I was on version. 51.1.1.0 and I was required to go to 51.1.0.2 with my stock recovery which went fine.
I then unlocked the bootloader and installed clockworkmod. success
I then installed bootmenu. success
I then read that you must go to 51.1.4.0 before getting to my final destination of 5.1.4.1. and then I read the following

"Starting with 51.1.4.1, these require FireTV Boot Menu. For the time being, you must update to 51.1.4.0 before updating to 51.1.4.1. Also, if you flashed 51.1.4.0, you must flash bootmenu afterwards. If you are already on 51.1.4.0, then you just need to flash bootmenu."

Its the flashing of bootmenu after 51.1.4.0 is installed that has me concerned. I obviously am still on 51.1.02 with bootmenu installed. Should I uninstall bootmenu before upgrading to 5.1.4.0?

AT&T Gear S pre-rooted NJ7 rootfs.img topic

Pre-rooted for AT&T Gear S.
I made and flashed on my Gear S with no problems, but I still can't be 100% sure nothing will happen to you.

1: You should already be on NJ7 & have the AT&T R750A
2: Download .zip & extract R750AUCU1ANJ7-rootfs-rooted.zip
3: Put watch in download mode.(Hold the Home button till the screen says rebooting... in orange letters, when that happens start tapping the home button I'd say around 5-6 times, when the menu comes up tap down to Download and hold the home button.
4: Flash rootfs.img.tar.md5 in the AP field within odin

Enjoy and lets get to modding.

Also the partition guide.

Make ftf and/ or zip yourself

2.0 | Start Xperifirm. Choose your phone and your cda. Download the firmware.

3.0 | FTF? Start FlashTool.
3.1 | Select Tools -> Bundles -> FILESET Decrypt
3.2 | Find the folder where you downloaded the firmware. Choose it.
3.3 | Choose to decrypt all the files in the folder. Add all elements from the left list to the right.
3.4 | After this the "Create ftf" will show. Select all the files from the left list, take them to the right. Fill in model number, cda and fw version.
3.5 | Now the ftf is located under ".../FlashTool/Firmwares".

4.0 | Pre-rooted Zip? Start PRFCreator
4.1 | Load the ftf you just made, supersu.zip and dualrecovery.zip. Choose to include: Kernel, FOTAKernel and LTALabel.
4.2 | After it's done flashable.zip is located in the same folder as PRFCreator.exe.

F.A.Q
I have rooted 4.4.2 firmware (.230). If i flash pre-rooted on top, will I loose my data?
No, you won't

I can't access Mega, please upload it somewhere else!! / The firmware I want is not listed!!
I can't spend hours of uploading (slow connection) for every request i get. I only wanted to mirror some of the most common FW's, not all of them.
Making these files is very, very simple. Do it yourself! :) (Look above for a guide)

Can I root .291?
Yes you can <- Follow this guide (works for 291 too)

Enjoy! And a "thanks" is appreciated ;)

[Prerooted flashable zip][23.0.1.A.4.44][(CustomizedTW) for Z2 tablet SGP511] topic

Hi

Here is flasable zip file wich install latest ROM 23.0.1.A.4.44 which this time is customized TW, latest stable SuperSu v2.37 and latest beta Dualrecovery .154 for Tablet Z2 with read/write acces to system.
This is still KitKat update not Lollipop.
This is tested and works just fine though make nandroid backup before flashing.
Install it by flashing whole zip file with custom recovery. Wipes aren´t necessary but good practise.
