I opened the telephony.db and there are several Sprint LTE entries with varying data. Can someone tell me which of these my phone is supposed to be using by default? (SM-G900P)

sprint nexus 6 to tmo topic
So i have a brand new sim from tmo and a sprint nexus 6. To the best of my knowledge this is supposed to work by just popping in the new card and rebooting. Phone says no service. Tmo says the account and card are good.
Any way to manually program this to work?

[Q] HTC One M8 from Sprint to Verizon???? topic
Folks, just a question here as I have contemplated switching phones, I have someone who has a almost new HTC One M8 from Sprint and they are wanting to sell it relatively cheap, I'm with Verizon using a Iphone 5S with sim card, is it possible to purchase the phone and stick my sim card into it and having it work on the Verizon network and get LTE?
I know they are both CDMA carriers but wasn't sure.
Thanks in advance for any answers.

[Q] Verizon HTC ONE and Sprint HTC ONE PARTS topic
Need Help here.
My phone is a Verizon HTC ONE and I just got a Sprint HTC ONE and I was wondering what parts can I put in my verizon phone from the Sprint one. The board that controls the Volume is faulty in my verizon phone and also my camera has the pink screen problem... can I replace these parts from that sprint phone?
Any of you know?
Thanks!

Taking Sprint S4 to Verizon? Other Carriers? topic
Greetings, I can't seem to find a definite answer or guide to this. I have a sprint galaxy s4 and once my contract was up I was looking to get off sprint and onto another contract, looking at verizon as my friends happen with them. I know they both use cdma. If I have them unlock the phone, can it be brought over and used that easily? If not, what must I do? Custom root? Find a verizon s4 motherboard with clean esn? I'm willing to do it to not spend a few hundred bucks on a new phone. I'd liketo give it to my mother and get the s6 for myself when it comes out.

How do I QPST with Win7 and my Sprint HTC One M8? topic
I've checked tutorials everywhere. I've used it before, Fascinate, by switching to modem for usb, but I can't seem to get it to connect for my M8. I have the drivers installed, I can ADB into my device, and I followed this too:
When I unplug and replug, it does not fail. The only device I get is One M8 in Portable Devices; MI_00. How can I get QPST to work? Phone is rooted, S-off, rooted, busyboxed and I'm on the Slimkat ROM.

[Q] rooted/bricked Sprint LG G2 topic
So I spent 0 to get a refurbished Sprint LG G2 through Asurion in November after cracking the screen on my HTC One. I then recently soft bricked my Sprint LG G2 while messing with a ROM. Before that though, I was having problems with maps and parts of the touchscreen not working. I got fed up with it so I decided to take it in to Sprint and see what would happen. They didn't even look at it and ordered me a new one, however they have to send the old one back to Asurion. My question is whether or not I should go through the trouble of getting it back to stock since there is no physical damage. Any advice? Will Asurion check and charge me?

Sprint Galaxy Note 3Stuck in Bootloop topic
I got myself in a little over my head here and could use some help. I have a rooted (stock rom) note 3 that has been working great but I was frustrated with the inability to use it as a hot spot and after try a few non-invasive methods I found a method involving adding .bak onto the end of 2 files using root browser and adding 2 files in there place. Well, I did that and now my phone is stuck at the yellow sprint screen. I did not install a custom recovery on it.:crying:
Not a big deal if the data is wiped.... important stuff is already off the phone.... I just need it to work again.
here is what i've tried so far:
windows based root explorer to attempt to correct file naming (will not recognize phone on loop screen or in recovery mode)
odin 3.10 will recognize the phone on com3 when it's stuck on the boot screen but not in recovery mode
wipe/data factory reset
Installing factory ROM (from stockroms.net) via and got the following messages E: footer is wrong and E: signature verification failed
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Steve

Running stock rooted. Does anyone else on Sprint notice that it takes sometimes up to a minute for SMS messages to send? I have this issue regardless of location and signal strength. Happens on both the messaging app and hangouts.

[Q] Sprint nexus 6 on Verizon? topic
I've looked around a bit, but couldn't really find a definitive answer. I was wondering if the Sprint Nexus 6 is unlocked just like the T-Mobile version and will work on Verizon if I put an activated Verizon sim in it? Thanks!

Sprint sent me a no-no letter topic
So after over 2yrs of using my unlimited data plan anyway I chose to do so, I got a letter last week basically saying I need to stop tethering. I've been using WiFi Tether - TrevE Mod for as long as I've had my phone to connect anything from my laptop at home or occasionally at work I'll connect my work laptop or let a coworker (good ol' AT&T throttling him) during lunch. I read this on Sprint forums, which makes complete sense to me:
The contract you signed also is for a specific plan, that states you have UNLIMITED DATA. Dan Hesse himself even stated that UNLIMITED means "no limits, no throttling and no data caps" - meaning you legally couldnt limit data, based on the actual plan a subscriber signs on a contract.
Sprint also states that as part of the Android platform being Open, one is able to download and use any apps the customer sees fit. That would include tethering apps. Part of Net Neutrality that Sprint also agrees with the FCC on is that customers can not be limited what they access or how they access the internet, this would include using the phone as a modem as a device how they access internet.
Also if you want to discuss morals and ethics on contracts, Sprint also states that any materially adverse charge/change in the contract will result in waivers of early termination fees, so not only is limiting someones data a materially adverse change/charge, but so is raising the Administrative Fee like just happened, to which Sprint breaches their own contract. With that being said, if Sprint can breach the contract so can a customer, because in order for a contract to be legal, BOTH PARTIES MUST AGREE TO ALL CLAUSES, and since one changes it on a whim, the contract isnt agreed to by both parties, thus, the contract isnt legal and is null and void.
Im sure the customer who decides to bring this to small claims or arbitration would win the case.
It not as if using my laptop will somehow make my phone pull faster internet speeds, so WTF is their issue?! I stream music for a better part of my 10-12hr day, 7 days a week...I'm a heavy data user no matter what! I get great 4G signal at work, I get **** 3G service at my home, so it's a slap in the face that they're not holding up their end of the contract, yet spent the postage to send me a thread letter before Christmas.

[Q] Flashing a T-Mobile Rom into Sprint LG G3. topic
I apologize for my incompetence before hand. I've been scouring the internet trying to find a method where I can use my LG G3 for T-Mobile. Would it be wise to flash a T-Mobile rom into the phone? Has anyone tried it? Also, what is the most efficient way to unlock the G3. I've done the shortcut method and I was wondering if there were any other methods. Thanks.

[Q] M8 (Sprint) Update Issues topic
Hi All,
I got an update today for 3.31.652.32.
The problem is that now none of my data works. It will show the LTE icon on the top but will not establish any kind of data connection. I've switched to 3G, same results. When connecting to wifi, I am able to connect to networks, but I receive an error that the internet connection is unstable and I am not able to use it. Phone calls and text messages work just fine.
I've contacted Sprint, they recommend replacing the phone. I've contacted HTC and they recommend contacting Sprint.
Has anyone else had this issue? We've tried all the standard troubleshooting, (resetting, factory restore, etc).
