[Q] Lost nearly all sounds from Sony Xperia z1 topic

I have a rooted sony xperia bootloader locked.
Tried to maually put back original sound into system\media\audio
Now all the lock,camera other ui noise dont work.
Is there any way of restoring this

UI Sounds Tied to Ringtone Volume topic

Hello all.

Earlier I used TWRP to mount system and replace a few UI sounds with sounds such as the lock sounds from the newest factory image. The sounds work just fine, but for some reason their volume is now tied to whatever volume level the ringtone is set to. Any advice?

Still have kitkat sounds on Lollipop? Heres a fix topic

So today I went to a phone store to try out the Nexus 6 that was just released in my country. I noticed that the system sounds were different from my Htc One M8 running a Lollipop rom (BlissPop). By system sounds I mean the lock/unlock sound, camera sounds etc.

I started googling about this, and it seems like the Nexus 5 and the NVIDIA shield have received these sounds in Lollipop and some devices have not. Finally I found a simple fix from this website: https://seo-michael.co.uk/how-to-cha...droid-devices/ The guide doesnt mention the few last steps though. After you have placed the sounds in the system, you have to set the files permission to rw -r-r, and then reboot.

I'm not sure if this helped anyone, I just wanted to share as I havent seen this discussed anywhere else.

I'm using google messenger as my default sms app and no matter what notification sound i set for sms's in the messenger app itself it won't use, it keeps defaulting to the default notification sound in the phone's sound and notification settings, anyone else experience this ?

I noticed that notification sound is much higher in watsapp than viber (viber also set to system notification), i realy some time don't hear viber notifications but wit watsapp is no problem, anyone noticed same problem?
