Tmobile topic

Ok guys I'm on a vs980 and am trying to find a rom that is tmobile compliant and has unlimited tethering. I would also like it to be I guess a tmobile rom on my vs980 so I could use wifi calling and the such. If anyone has come across a working tmobile rom on the vs980 and could direct me to that page I would be very humbled. I have found a few roms but none that are specifically tmobile.

T-mobile Wifi Calling Work around.. topic

This is my work around for t-mobile calling for non-t-mobile branded phones or t-mobile phones with customized ROMs/ iphone 5 and earlier iphone versions.
Things you need:
1. Andriod phones with customized ROMs/ non-T-Mobile branded Android phones / iphone 5 and earlier iphone versions.
2. T-Mobile service/ working T-mobile SIM card of the phone above.
3. Gmail account with activated Google Voice number.
4. Google Hangouts App
5. Google Hangouts Dialer App (only for Android, IOS has the dialer already merged to the Hangout app by default)
6. Off course WIFI connection.
7. a compurer
Okay let's start.
1. Download the Google Hangout and Google Hangout dialer on your android/ only google Hangout App to IOS.
2. Log in your google Voice/Gmail account in the Hangout App.
3. Go to Hangout setting, press on your email add, go to google voice (within the setting) and and enable/check "Incoming phone calls".
4. Now you have to activate CF NRC (Call Forwarding if Not Reachable) for your T-Mobile number. This will forward your incoming calls when you are not reachable only. We will be forwarding your incoming call to your Google Voice number. (Callforwarding will consume your minutes if you do not have unlimited voice minutes). From your phone, go to the native phone dialer (not the Hangout Dialer) and dial **62*YOURGOOGLEVOICENUMBER# then send.
-- note- to deactivate CF NRC if you change your mind go to native dialer and dial ##62# then send
5. Now go to a computer and log in to your Google Voice account, go to setting and uncheck "calls forward to" your T-mobile phone number. If you do not do this, your incoming call will go into an unending loop of voicemail forwarding and your incoming voice call will not ring to your Hangout/Google voice number.
6. Now you can receive you incoming voice call via hangout. Unfortunately, you will use your free outgoing voice calls via hangout only if you do not have a T-Mobile signal.
Tip:
When I do not have a good T-Mobile signal and have a WIFI connection, I put my phone to Airplane Mode and turn on WIFI connection after so that you battery will not die quick. You can still receive your phone call and make VOIP outgoing calls via your WIFI connection.
The moment you have T-Mobile signal, you should receive your incoming call normally since you will be "reachable" so you do not have disable the CF NRC.
Unfortunately this does not work on your text messages so I use my google voice Hangout text message which is also unlimited.
Enjoy.

T-Mobile one m8 radio topic

I have two one m8 phones. I just purchased a zte z max. I must say that the m8 has terrible radios at this point. I have LTE everywhere in my home town now using the z max. I have it in place the m8 did not know it existed. The frequency deployed here is 1900 2100 MHz LTE and that's it. The m8 has those radios. So there is nothing special that would differentiate why the zmax would get reception of LTE and not the two m8s. Also where the m8s do get LTE and the zmax the zmax gets much higher speeds. This leads me to believe the m8 has terrible radios. Maybe it's the aluminum construction. I'm not sure. It's just really bothersome that a 180 dollar phone outperforms the 600 dollar phone's in any manner. I cannot get any signal at home at all with either m8 and with the zmax I get LTE of 14 down and 5 up and calls are excellent. I've always been a fan of HTC and their design and thought put into their phones. But this really has me questioning the radios. A friend of mine is an engineer for t mobile and he made me aware that the frequency deployed here is not of a band in which the zmax has and the m8s do not as I questioned that first myself. This zmax is an excellent performing phone as it's almost raw android like a nexus. It's big for sure. Only has a 720p display but performs everything well. And there's no root either as devs haven't attempted very much. It does have a Qualcomm s4 chip. The camera is actually decent also. My first phablet so took a little getting used to. And I just despise Samsung and touch wiz. I'd like to have the nexus 6 but cannot validate the 600 dollar price point.

[Q] Galaxy Note Edge Tmobile. Brightness Issue/Overheating topic

Just got my Note Edge 2 days ago and when comparing the screen brightness (at max/no auto) it is much dimmer than our note 4. now I am not talking about the super bright setting that occurs when its on auto and outside but instead indoors. I also have been seeing a message in the display brightness settings "UNABLE TO INCREASE THE BRIGHTNESS FURTHER. THE DEVICE IS OVERHEATING" Could this be due to a faulty battery or something else? This is my only complaint with this phone but its a big one especially if i'm receiving this message. Should I return to Tmobile or is it most likely a software glitch. It is very cold where I am at so it has not been out in the sun or plugged in too long. minor use has led to this overheating message usually only seen in the summertime when in the car too long

T-Mobile Jump! Cancel topic

Merry Christmas!
Hey guys, I've been thinking about canceling my Jump! service, I just do not see the benefit beside protecting you device. I just want to see who have it, and why you want to keep it. Or those that do not have it and why you didn't bother signing up.:)

T-Mobile LTE? Cannot get LTE, only 4G topic

I cannot get LTE at all on my vs980, using CloudyStock 2.6 and cannot get T - Mobile to receive LTE. On 24A band.

Fiddled with all the GSM settings and the fastest speed im getting is 4/0.3 contrary to a similar phone getting 50/28 so its not reception

Anyone have this problem? THanks in advance

T-Mobile service sucks!!! topic

I do not know about the rest of you, but for me the service sucks. Constant dropped calls at a month is uncalled for. I never have this issue with straight talk AT&T service. So for less a month for the same 3gig of data, straight talk knocks T-Mobile out of the park.

How is the service for the rest of you? Do you get random dropped calls as well? I am personally very disappointing in the lack of quality service through such a large carrier like T-Mobile.

Q Second Party T-Mobile Carrier Locked S5 topic

My son bought a Galaxy S5 from a pawn shop but when he put in his Sim Card it was Carrier Locked. He went to T-Mobile and was told that the phone is locked by them because the previous owner had not paid his commitment on the device and there was nothing they could do for him.

It there a way to unlock this device? I have been searching but haven't found anything related to this type of locked device.

Suggestions and help is appreciated

[Q] Att Note 4 issues with tmobile network topic

So I bought an Att note 4 unlocked I bought it knowing I might have internet issues but it was cheap, and I'm having issues with the Internet it works fine its fast(not as fast as it should be) just very bad signal and constantly looses connection and searches for network I checked the apn it's on tmobiles network all looks fine, I'm guessing it might be the band issues but I'm using METROPCS which uses Tmobiles network I had a G3 and G2 pervious to getting the note 4 both where from tmobile and never had a single issue with those I would always get full signal never dropped a call not only that I would get download speeds and upload of over 30mbps now it's taken a dump. Any suggestions? I despise att because I use my network a lot away from home I was averaging 150gb a month on my G3 now it seems that it will be hard to do that with this phone pretty bumped use Netflix a lot watch movies online download games etc. :crying:

[Q] Flashing a T-Mobile Rom into Sprint LG G3. topic

I apologize for my incompetence before hand. I've been scouring the internet trying to find a method where I can use my LG G3 for T-Mobile. Would it be wise to flash a T-Mobile rom into the phone? Has anyone tried it? Also, what is the most efficient way to unlock the G3. I've done the shortcut method and I was wondering if there were any other methods. Thanks.

[Q] New T-Mobile LG G3 Not Recognizing any SD card topic

I need help here guys,
Just bought a new LG G3 about 2 weeks ago, and i just received my new sd card ( PNY Turbo Performance 64GB High Speed MicroSDXC Class 10 UHS-1 Up to 90MB/sec) from amazon today, inserted it and nothing, i inserted my old 4gb micro sd card as well, not recognized.
I reformat the new 64GB card to Fat 32, that didn't work either.
This is the first time a micro sd card has been inserted into this phone, so could some pin inside the phone be broken or something?
Both cards work on my computer by the way, just not on the LG G 3
Any one have any idea what else i can try? Thanks
