can someone port MIUIv5 from the moto g 4g since we already have cm 11 working on our desire 510? the processor is the same(snapdragon 400) and i believe the screen size is the same as well.
Ive had my m8 since the end of april. It's worked and charged fine up until last Thursday. I started to notice that when I have it plugged in, the led will come on and it'll say it's charging, but it doesn't actually charge, most of the time it continued to decrease. After playing with different cables and the gsam app I found that it won't actually charge unless I put pressure or weight on top of the end of the cable that is plugged in to my phone. Even then, I have to mess with it quite a bit and hope when I wake up, it'll be charged.
This has become increasingly frustrating every time I plug it in to charge now. Has anyone else experienced this problem with your device? Also does anyone know of a fix, besides paying the 9 to get it replaced with my ATT insurance plan? I really just want to wait until around April and get a new phone, preferably with a snapdragon 810 processor, however, at this point, I don't think I can make it until then.
Hello guys, I have an MT6582-device with FWVGA Display and JellyBean (Innjoo i1 - only available in the Middle East and Africa) just like the "Android One" devices.. I see a lot of support and ROMS for those devices and they're getting stock Lollipop this month too! So I thought I could try and port one rom (CM11) for example to my device. Is this even possible? I have my device's stock ROM, MIUI v5 that I ported myself to my device, My device boot.img extracted with the kernel, ramdisk, and device tree. (and a Kitkat kernel for MT6582 available at github) I just need proper steps on how to port Cyanogenmod to my device. Thanks.
Another day where my phone starts to act weird. Now as of y hours ago it is not charging correctly. I have tried 3 different chargers to include my car and the battery drains instead of charging. I keep getting a pop up, which the picture is below and on my status bar it keeps saying "the dock is connected" do not know that what heck that it's. I gave done no changes except now I'm using chrome cast to mirror my phone. I read online that the problem seems to be with my charging port and manually changing it would be the only fix. Any other solutions out there?

I have an Xperia T and today I found that my usb port is not working well... Sometimes the phone doesn't charge, sometimes lost the connection to te PC ecc ecc... The question is: it is simple to change or repair or I have to send it to a Sony centre?
I was recently going through the threads and found that Vipul Verma, a developer has ported a IOS 7 rom from MTK6572 for his Lava Iris 405. I humbly request developers to have a look at this rom and try to port this rom to our device so that we can get IOS 7 look on our device.. :)
I noticed pretty much right away that it is not a very pleasant experience plugging the device in, the cable doesn't fit super well and seems to take too much force, that mixed with the tear down and seeing that the port is on the same board as everything else worries me...
Because of that I am pretty sure I will be returning this phone tomorrow and picking up something else :( I can't have a non fixable device that already seems destined to break.

Installation instructions (ONLY FOR N910C)
INSTALLATION:
1- Untick reactivation lock in security settings
2- do a EFS backup
3- check the MD5 of your downloaded X-Note rom zip
4- reboot recovery
5- wipe data is REQUIRED otherwise you will have errors (don't do other wipes)
6- install zip and choose the rom in your sd
7- power off after installation, remove battery (NO REBOOT)
8- reboot system.
9. Before asking, look at my videos (see above) on HOW-TO use xnote app and x-transformer app
10- done, have fun

Is it possible to port google play music from the nexus player to the Amazon fire TV. Im asking this question because the google play music apk that came with the nexus player dose not require touch navigation, its design specifically to control with a remote. Thank you.
