So I just purchased a used Oneplus One off of Swappa (seller claimed phone had been used for 1 week, minimal damage, etc.) and upon receiving it and trying to boot it, I was greeted with a bootlook where the phone never makes it past the boot animation (the oneplus logo with android at the bottom). I figured the easy solution was to simply sideload a stock image of the latest software. However, when I put the phone into fastboot, it would not be detected by either adb or fastboot. I know the phone is rooted and unlocked, but because I cannot turn it on, I cannot tinker with any USB-related dev settings. I have reinstalled android sdk, adb, fastboot, and the google usb driver, all to no avail. Even tried all of this on a second Windows laptop. Is there something I'm missing or is there some fix to have this phone detected while in fastboot? The phone is the Cymd edition with stock recovery. Thank you.

[FIX] Make Those Chamfered Edges Look New! topic
Okay so after a month of having the Note 4 (SM910C) I took it out of the case and WALLAH! It had scratched like it was baby skin! The look was horrid and it bothered me so much! However I found an easy and cheap fix! I'll post before and after pictures below.
I'll be making a video tutorial shortly!
Basically, get a sand brick with a medium grit. Check the packaging to make sure it is safe to use on metal surfaces. DO NOT USE SANDPAPER AS IT BENDS!!! The brick is stiff with a flat edge so you can angle it on the side and not have to worry about sanding the color! Gently rub in a smooth left to right motion all around the metal edges. Do it SLOWLY! Take a good 5 minutes going around repeatedly to get the best finish! I'm a little busy rn so I'll post pictures of what my sanding brick looks like and links to where you can buy one soon!
Something like this would suffice:

If you have a problem with unlock, look here topic
Telling you... been doing **** with computers for 14 years... got my HTC One backup done so I could do ****...
Downloaded moto drivers, downloaded Google.. if you done both...
http://nexus5.wonderhowto.com/how-to...linux-0158751/
I am now oem unlocked. Rest is on me but my computer sees the phone on ADB. You judge for yourself. Just sharing info because I was going to drink vodka until it unlocked... which what I was doing (MOTO drivers, Google generic with them both showing ADB) didn't work til I finally found this tutorial...
And do NOT use USB 3.0 unless you have no 2.0... HTC hates that. If its Google, no idea, it was 2.0 from the start. Still ****ing up... but not now... I was tripping because I relocked and S-ON on my HTC so I can send to T-Mo... but then nothing from the Nexus and I use Google Authenticar (yes I'm aware of Authy but I don't want my cloud passwords being sent to the cloud).
It is what it is... bout to turn off security verification now... encryption, whatever... watch how fast this device is.
