Hey I'm trying to find a way to work around my hotspot tethering limit. I have unlimited data and want to use the most out of it, I have had unlimited data for about 3 weeks now and I have used 200 gigs of data and I want o be able to co next my Xbox and laptop for more than just a day or 2 because I only get 5 gigs of hotspot. So if anyone has a workaround for the tmobile s5 please comment and let me know

[Q] Galaxy Note Edge Tmobile. Brightness Issue/Overheating topic
Just got my Note Edge 2 days ago and when comparing the screen brightness (at max/no auto) it is much dimmer than our note 4. now I am not talking about the super bright setting that occurs when its on auto and outside but instead indoors. I also have been seeing a message in the display brightness settings "UNABLE TO INCREASE THE BRIGHTNESS FURTHER. THE DEVICE IS OVERHEATING" Could this be due to a faulty battery or something else? This is my only complaint with this phone but its a big one especially if i'm receiving this message. Should I return to Tmobile or is it most likely a software glitch. It is very cold where I am at so it has not been out in the sun or plugged in too long. minor use has led to this overheating message usually only seen in the summertime when in the car too long

[Q] Rooting Galaxy note 3 SM-N9005 topic
Good day, I am trying to root my note 3 but it doesn't seem to work. Also i couldn't find any threads or forums discussing my problem. The problem is:
I can't install SuperSU. It says installation aborted very soon. It is unpacking and then aborts the installation .
Also it gives me this option "rom may flash stock recovery on boot THIS CAN NOT BE UNDONE" then i have the options of - no, - yes disable recovery flash, and - go back. It doesn't matter which one I choose because the phone reboots normally in all three options. Is there anyone who has had this problem or knows a way to solve this?
Thanks already

[Q] Quickest ROM for Galaxy S3 i9300 (1 GB version) topic
Tried to do a couple of searches on the topic, but couldn't find any conclusive answer.
A quick recap:
Now, maybe my expectations for a 3 year old device are a little bit unrealistic but...what would you reccomand to a guy whose only concern is rom responsitivity in switching between apps / recalling keyboard / going back to home page? Bleeding edge features... I don't care about them...the faster, the better! Any hint? And thanks..:o
A quick recap:
- rooted my Galaxy S3
- tried cm11 -> crappy performance, poor responsitivity
- went to cm 10.2 -> still crappy performance and responsitivity
- then 10.1 -> even if a little bit better, still unsatisfacted

Hi guys. Since last week my Galaxy s4's battery is getting empty very quickly.

From 100% - 58% in 4 hours (in airplane mode)

Inactive 17%

Google Play services 2%
I've already tried restoring to factory values but nothing happened.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!

[Q] Galaxy s3 stucked at logo screen topic
Hi all.
I´m new here. Speaking from Brazil!
I´ve just got an S3 stucked at the logo screen and I´ll detail all info and what I´ve already done.
The battery was bloated. I´ve changed for a new one.
The animation blue lines around the Samsung word come but the little music starts but stops at the middle. Finally the word Samsung stays at the screen forever.
The phone´s onwer said that the battery was ending very fast and charging fast as well.
And sometimes the phone stucked at the logo screen, but it´s just take the battery off and it started normaly.
What I´ve done:
1. wipe data / factory reset | wipe data cache
2. flashed stock rom with odin 3.09, 3,07 and 3,04
3. flashed an older stock rom with all 3 odim versions
4. flashed clockworkmod and steps 2 and 3 again
nothing. always the same.
I´m wondering whether the battery issue did somthing to the hardware.
Any help, hint, light, pathways...?
Thanks a lot!!

Need help with unlocking Galaxy S3 Mini topic
Hi guys, I'm trying to unlock my S3 Mini and I'm having no luck so far. I've managed to root the phone using the iRoot (former Vroot) program and it worked nicely. At least it seems it did, now it does ask me to give su eprmissions to allpications and busybox is installed.
As for the unlocking itself, I tried several methods. Firstly, there was some service menu, accessible by a long string of numbers on the dialer, then going to network lock menu and setting something there, but the menu isn't there. Or better said, when I come to the Network Lock, it says only Not Active and no further options available. Then I tried the GalaxSim Unlock just to see, but as it said in the notes, this version of phone is not supported and so it didn't work. Same with another app, Galaxy S Unlock, or something like that. That one needs busybox, so I installed the 1.22 I think, but it says that there is a problem with busybox or something. It does say in the notes, that recommended is 1.17 busybox, so I keep that as a backup hope :) but it seems again, that the phone is not supported...
So basically, I have a rooted S3 Mini, that is still locked to T-mobile. I'm not sure, whether the country of origin matters here, but I think it was purchased in Austria (I am not the first owner) and need to unlock it for slovak O2. So far I am actually very happy with it's stock ROM, so I'm not planning to flash it completely, just sim unlock. So if anyone has any idea, what I can do to avoid going to a phone service and have it done for money, I'd appreciate it.

GT-N8013 Galaxy Note 10.1 problem. Many troubleshooting threads read & tried topic
I have a WiFi only version GT-N8013 Galaxy Note 10.1.
I purchased it at a local auction with the notation that it needed work and was stuck at the samsung galaxy note 10.1 screen.
The counter has not been set off. It shows everything as "official".
It will not connect in KIES or KIES 3 (I have other devices that will detect and connect in KIES)
It is stuck at the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 boot screen.
I can access download mode.
I cannot access the recovery program at all.
I have odin flashed it with CWM, TWRP, and stock recoveries (none of them seem to "stick")
I have flashed 3 or 4 different STOCK ROMS (Odin shows "passed" but the device usually doesn't reboot...it stays stuck at the download mode screen)
Even when it reboots after odin flashing a rom or recovery it hangs at the "Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1" screen.
when I check "nand erase" or "re-partition" when flashing a rom, recovery, or pit file it instantly fails in odin.
Again it's like it can't write to the memory.
Odin does it's thing, but it sticks at the samsung galaxy note 10.1 screen every time.
It has never gotten to thew samsung boot logo and I have never gotten it into recovery mode.
I am prepared to sell it on the bay for parts (the value of the LCD will more than cover the price I paid for it but I would like to get it going if possible.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am fairly proficient with flashing, etc.
Thanks in advance.

Sprint Galaxy Note 3Stuck in Bootloop topic
I got myself in a little over my head here and could use some help. I have a rooted (stock rom) note 3 that has been working great but I was frustrated with the inability to use it as a hot spot and after try a few non-invasive methods I found a method involving adding .bak onto the end of 2 files using root browser and adding 2 files in there place. Well, I did that and now my phone is stuck at the yellow sprint screen. I did not install a custom recovery on it.:crying:
Not a big deal if the data is wiped.... important stuff is already off the phone.... I just need it to work again.
here is what i've tried so far:
windows based root explorer to attempt to correct file naming (will not recognize phone on loop screen or in recovery mode)
odin 3.10 will recognize the phone on com3 when it's stuck on the boot screen but not in recovery mode
wipe/data factory reset
Installing factory ROM (from stockroms.net) via and got the following messages E: footer is wrong and E: signature verification failed
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How to remove scratches on Galaxy note 4 bezel! topic
Hey all,
I have noticed a lot of people saying that their Galaxy Note 4 bezel has been scratching....
I think I have found a fix!!
This is the stuff I used, I litretely put a very little on my finger and rubbed it all over the polished edges and left it to sit for 2 minutes then I used a micro fibre cloth to buff it.
From what I can see I have no more scratches on my phone so it worked for me, I have a Wrap on my phone to the non polished sides are covered so none of the Polish went on there, I don't think it would cause damage but I will not be held responsible for any damages 😉👍
Just sharing what worked for me 👍
