How to make full dump stock rom topic

Hi developers, senior members and all who have knowledge to dump or create a rom.
Any one can help me how to make full dump stock rom my phone was hardbricked because of flashing wrong scatter file in spft now its unable to switch on nor charging but detected in PC. I have a friend with same device but we don't know how to make full dump. I think this the only way to restore my hard bricked phone. and also I tried mtkdroid tools but can't create scatter file in block maps due to not supported ubifs and chipset of mt6571.
If there is a developer who can help me to do it for me, please let me know.
I hope there is somebody who have mercy for my begging. Thanks!

Full Emojis? topic

I got the galaxy camera 2 for christmas and i noticed that while it does have some emojis it doesnt have them in color or many of the, im using google keyboard btw and i went to the emoji wiki page where you can see all the emojis and it showed some, the rest were squares and on google keyboard it shows ones i would never use unless i use swipe like so ☺ but i dont know what to type for every one, and lets be honest that just takes to much time i tried installing hi font and tried a notocoloremoji, apple emoji font and another one , but only the noto one showed on my font list and even then the emojis didnt show so am i doing something wrong or what, am i using the wrong app? Font? What? And sorry i didnt sew the camera 2 forum and i figured in some way this is considered devolpment and also didnt see a q&a

This is my personal review of the new WeTek Play an android mini-pc that include a TV Tuner (Sat or DDT).

It is a very interesting device especially because of its active community. There are already available a lot of custom rom:

Stock Photos app doesn't go full screen (Android 5.1) topic

Hi,

I have problem with stock photos app on Nexus 4, Android 5.1. Stock photos app doesn't show photos and images in fullscreen. I tryed different aspect ratio, but still no change. Only Stories are displayed in full screen (no statusbar, or buttons). Can anyone help me?

[Q] Full HD Camera issue ARHD 83.1 topic

Hello everyone.
Today i noticed a strange thing with the camera. When i record a video in Full HD there's a problem with the colors. It is like the color was detached from the object, i have a screenshot from a video of a circular object with many colorful circles on it and all of them are in the shades of grey and the colors are moved to the right so one half of the circles are on the right edge of the image and another half reemerges on the left side. Really not easy to describe, sorry. It doesn't happen when i lower the resolution to 720p. I'm thinking about going back to Viper 7.0.2, but i'm wondering if there's a way to fix this.

Modified drivers with full OpenGL support? topic

I am vaguely interested in a nexus 9, but the driver gimping is a non starter. I do play some Tegra optimized games, and frankly I refuse to give them up because of Google handiwork. I was considering this device as an alternative to the shield tablet, but if this issue can't be fixed I'm going to stick with nvidia's offering. FYI I do already own the shield tablet, I was just considering a switch due to issues I've been having.

Hi all people.....
this is an "alternative mix" TAKING THE BEST of Rebirth 1.8, Norma Beta3 and STOCK NG1 DEODEXED roms : I applied all the patches found in developement's threads, and I packed it all with a multiCSC aroma installer. This is a N900x rom, optimized for N9005 Snapdragon !
Yesterday I started this thread in "GENERAL SECTION", and after lots of private requests I decided to put it in "DEVELOPMENT SECTION". So I ask to moderators to delete the previous thread (thanks).

INSTRUCTIONS:

WARNING: Please do not flash this if you're low on battery...go charge your phone!

o) Download the I9505GUEUDxxx_FULL.tar.md5.gz package from below
o) Make sure you have the USB Drivers installed and you have Odin 3.09 from below
o) Put your phone in download mode and connect it to USB:
-Disconnect the phone from USB
-Power OFF your phone
-Hold Volume Down, Home, and Power
-When the "WARNING!!!" screen comes up, release the buttons
-Volume up to enter download mode
-Connect the phone to USB
o) Open Odin
o) Click on AP, then select the I9505GUEUDxxx_FULL.tar.md5.gz package you downloaded
o) Odin will extract the tar md5 file from the gzip archive, and this will take a while...be patient
o) Once the tar md5 is loaded, make sure you have a COM PORT in Odin ( any )
o) Click Start and wait till it finishes flashing...your phone should reboot when it's done

NOTE: If your phone does not boot, then boot into stock recovery and Wipe Data Factory Reset.

[c6943] 14.4.a.157 with dtv (deodexed, full rooted and with 4K) topic

THIS IS A COMPILING GUIDE FOR CREATE YOUR PACK TO UPDATE YOUR Z1 (C6943 THE BRAZILIAN VERSION WITH DTV) FOR THE 14.4.A.157 OFICIAL FIRMWARE WITH ROOT, DEODEXED AND 4K.

1 - First of all you need to create your FTF file of the 14.4.A.157 for your specefically version (C6943).

A- Download and install the Flashtool. (don't forget to update to the latest version always)
B - After installed go to the tab DEVICES -> CHECK UPDATES -> select the xperia z1 -> select the tab C6943 and double tap the 1276-7099 CUSTOMIZED BR like on the image bellow, after this you gonna start to download the firmware.



C - When conclued on the next window that will apear just move all the files from the left side (folder list) to the right side (firmware content) then click on create and wait to your FTF file be created, after this you file will be on the firmware folder of the flashtool ready to be flashed.



2 - Now it's time to flash, just open the flashtool, click on the first icon 'lightning bolt' and select the flashmode, now select the correct firmware and click on flash, don't do nothing more then that, after this connect your Z1 holding the button VOLUME DOWN, the flashing process will start.



3 - After this you will need to get root, so download this files KERNEL .108 FOR C69XX, KERNEL .157 FOR C6943 and the root tool

A - Open Flashtools, click the 'lightning bolt' icon and select the firmware 108. Click FLASH and plug the phone on computer holding the volume down.
B - In just a few seconds the app warns you that the procedure is finished and it will tell you to restart, do it.
C - Start your phone, check out on options if "USB Debugg" and "Unknown Applications" are enabled and Apply the Root with the root tool.
D - extract the root tool and plug your device into your comput.er
E - Run install.bat and follow the instructions on screen it's easy.
F - After the root process is done, check if your phone is really rooted then Turn off the phone.
G - now just repeat the step A with 157 specific firmware for C6943.

4 - Time to install the RECOVERY

A - Download the correct version from NUT'S DATABASE chose the latest version of the file "Z1-lockeddualrecovery[VERSION]-BETA.installer.zip"
B - After downloaded and extracted, plug in your phone with "USB Debugg" and "Unknown Applications" enabled and run install.bat, now just select the right option and follow the instructions, is pretty easy too.



5 - After done, it's time to deodex your rom, download this KIT.

A - Extract downloaded tool and Run main.bat.
B - Type 1 to create working folder.
C - Don't forgetting to enable the USB Debugging, Plug in your phone, then type 2 to pull files from your device. (This step can be skipped if you manually copy /system/app, /system/framework, /system/priv-app to /Kitkat_Deodexer/system)
D - Type 3 to start deodexing and Type 4 to create flashable zip.



E - Move the .zip to your sd card then turn on the phone on the recovery. (when the phone starts to boot and a green light shows up press VOLUME DOWN, the light will turn on purple and the phone will enter on the recovery mode)
F - Now just flash the .zip on the recovery and it's all done.

6 - Now it's time to install the 4K. You can use this video guide too.

A - Download this files, MOD, Serajr XPERIA and the XPOSED INSTALLER.
B - Move all the files to the sd card.
C - Just open and install the XPOSED INSTALLER and the Serajr Xperia in this order.
D - Open the XPOSED INSTALLER, go to FRAMEWORK, INSTALL and REBOOT
E - Now go to MODULES, Activate(check) the Serajr XPERIA and REEBOT AGAIN.
F - After this, go to the app menu and open the XPERIA XPOSED, go to system and ENABLE CUSTOMIZATIONS (CHECK IF SUPER USER MODE IS ENABLED TOO)
E - Now just turn off your phone and go to the RECOVERY MODE AGAIN.
F - Flash the "MOD" file on the recovery and wipe the dalvik cache.
G - ALL DONE, XPERIA Z1 ROOTED, DEODEXED and with 4K. :highfive:
