[Q] How is it that service providers like AT&T detect if your boot loader is unlocked topic

I'm not even sure if they can detect if your boot loader is even unlocked without physically having the device, but I did read that they don't allow phones with unlocked bootloaders on their networks, so if this is the case how do they detect it, can you bypass this at all? Because if they need the physical thing I can just restore it whenever I need their help. Any help would be appreciated :)
I'm planning on rooting a y536a1 huawei, if that's any help. Happy holidays!

I want to install the cm12 5.0.1 beta 2 rom, my phone is 1 month old and its sad it wont get updates, sooo, i know how to unlock bootloader from sony website. (I want to do the less pc process possible bc im kinda stupid for doing them).

Flashing an RUU with s-on and unlocked bootloader topic

So I'm trying to flash the 1.58.502.1 RUU but I am s-on with an unlocked bootloader. And from the sound of things the only way to relock the bootloader is by going s-off which I don't want to pay to do.

My current software is 1.12.502.8 but the current baseband matches up with the baseband from 1.58.502.1 (1.16.21331931. LA11G_20.31A.4145.02L). Are there any work arounds that you guys can think of, can I just flash the RUU since the basebands match up?

come on guys i have a few ? about this rom too since my phone does not think its a ls980 but a d801 what kernals can i use. also i was wondering if there was a way to enable next radio to work. ive installed the next radio apk manually. the next radio tell me that my device does not support it when i know it does any help would be preciated

[Q] Unlocked Samsung S4 gets no data in Portugal topic

Hi,

I have an AT&T S4 that I got unlocked from AT&T and I have been using it for a few months on UK's Three network with no problems. However, I am on a trip to Portugal for a couple weeks and was hoping to get a SIM card with data for use while here. However, with both Vodafone and NOS I was unable to have the phone connect to the mobile network and get data. I tried changing/checking the APN but nothing has worked. Any advice for me? My phone isn't rooted but I can root it if needed. Thanks for the help.

[Q] Unlocked S5, MM#3 error. Any input appreciated. topic

My S5 was originally AT&T, the phone has been unlocked and with a clean IMEI yet if I put a ATT Straight Talk sim inside, it gives the error MM#3. I've tried this with both active and non active SIMS. The Tmobile SIM seems to work, but don't have one with service. Using Tmobile here is not even an option, 0 service. Would flashing PDA.md5 with odin help? I'm not even sure with the PDA file does, just saw in another thread with 0 explanation afterwards. Any input here is greatly appreciated.

[Q] Unlocked Phone for CDMA (Cricket) topic

I recently switched from AT&T to Cricket with my Note 2 and I want to upgrade to a Note 4.
I need help clarifying a few things:

I know that carrier locked AT&T phones work on cricket, but AT&T Note 4 has no development right now.
I would prefer to get the international Exynos version of the Note 4 but I fear that it will not be compatible with CDMA.

( 1 ) If I get an unlocked version of the International Note 4 can I use CDMA carrier?

( 2 ) If I get a T-Mobi version, can I unlock it and set it up for cricket SIM?
