Gmail after last update (5.0.1 - Dec 16) topic

Gmail has been killing my battery for almost 2 days, I haven't changed a single setting in the Gmail app or any account info, but it seems that with the new update Google messed up the Gmail app.

I charged the phone before going to sleep, and then went to bed to see the drain overnight (I usually do this to see if something is wrong), and when I woke up, I had a drain of about 15% overnight when usually I have around 5%.

Besides this, it seems that the app itself is behaving real bad, I usually turn off sync when I'm not on my home or work, and today I received a mail when sync off.

Have any of you guys have a similar experience?.

1% of battery last forever... topic

I bought a moto G 2014 for my dad a couple days ago and I'm really impressed by the phone.
But now I found a problem on the battery and I can't find the solution.
The moto charge with no problems and can last long enough ( 3h sot and 1d of use), but the last 1% last forever...
I have tried to calibrate the battery with the methods that I found on google. Do a complete discharge, keep the phone on the charger for more than 8 hours, but with no luck.

I don't want to root the phone, so there is a solution or should I request for replace for other?

2 resets in last 4 days. Is this normal? topic

Had the phone for less than a month with no hiccups.

Three days ago, when the phone was low on battery (30%) it suddenly shut off (or seemed to). Wasn't responding to being plugged into a charger (no led) or pressing the power button. Pressed the off/reset button beneath the SD card cover and was back up and running.

Plugged phone in last night and woke up to it with the red LED on this time and otherwise unresponsive. The back of the phone was warm. Pressed the off/reset button and I'm up again.

Is this normal behavior or a sign of worse things to come?

Should I be concerned?

I am using two non-Sony chargers:
