I'm selling my S5 so I need to remove the ROM that installed from this thread:

Restoring Apps from a previous Nexus 6 device or ROM topic

Hello all, has anyone else run into this issue? When installing a new ROM, lollipop gives you the ability to restore from a previous device. With my previous phones on lollipop (GNex, DNA, G2) I was able to restore from each different ROM I installed on the phone. With the N6, I have installed custom rom's on two different N6 devices and I am not getting the option to restore from either N6. This is frustrating because I have removed apps I no longer use that were on previous devices, but my only option is to restore from the previous devices and uninstall those apps again, or start fresh. Any tips for this?

Hey guys,

I'm running the GPE ROM on my One M8 (was a stock unlocked model with Sense 6), and I'm wanting to restore the phone completely to the stock HTC Sense ROM, stock recovery etc, yet I can find pretty much NOTHING about restoring the stock ROM to an unlocked handset, hoping someone can help me out with this.

Restoring Titanium Contacts topic

Had 4.4.2 Sense 6, flashed GPE 5.0. My question is, how do I restore my contacts? The Sense ROM used HTC People App.. the GPE uses Contacts.

Also, in Titanium restore for People there is a line through the backup? What does that mean? And when I touch it I get options to restore the App or App and Data, no option to restore only data.

[Q] [Help] Restoring HTC One M7 Warranty topic

Sorry if this comes across as noobish, I mainly just need a steer in the right direction and a file link or two.

Recently I started having problems with my HTC One M7 (I won't go into details, suffice to say its definitely a hardware issue). It's covered under warranty, but the problem is that my phone has been rooted and the bootloader unlocked for quite some time now. I understand that I need an RUU file to unroot the phone, however the website that every tutorial links me to (htc1guru.com) seems to have been down for quite some time. My phone has (according to my bootloader screen) need of the RUU file 4T.28.3218.04 (I live in Australia and the phone has always shown a Telstra logo, if that's any help). If someone can provide the RUU exe I need for that I can be on my way. I managed to track down from another thread on this forum the file "T-Mobile Radio 4T.28.3218.04_10.33E.1718.01L.zip" which contains a "radio.img" file among other folders. Does anyone know if I can use this somehow to just revert to stock firmware? All the tutorials I've managed to track down thus far have required RUU executables all located at htc1guru at some stage or another.

Any help appreciated of course. And a few more questions below:
-Is "Relocked" bootloader the same (for warranty purposes) as "locked"?
-I've noticed that most of the RUU files listed have 4A rather than 4T, are the two interchangeable or will the 4A one brick my phone?

Titanium Backup Not Restoring in CM12 topic

Hello All

I am having trouble restore apps to CM12 Unofficial with Titanium Backup.
I moved from CM11.

I could restore calls and messages fine, but general apps get stuck restoring.
Any ideas?

I've tried using all the modes etc but no luck.
I searched but could not find anything.

[Q] Restoring game parameters with LG PC Suite topic

Hello.

How can I restore only a specific game data with Lg Pc suite ?

I'm a new Lg G3 user (since december the 3rd)
Today, before updating my mobile with the official Lollipop 20e rom using LGMobile Support Tool, I backed up everything with Lg Pc Suite, and also the the fast backup option (contacts, Sms, calendar)
After updating, I did a factory reset, then restored my contacts, Sms, calendar data with Lg Pc Suite.
Then I installed all my apps.

In my Pdesktop backup folder, I get many backpup_xx.tar.gz.enc files - I cannot open them.
I get one PCSuite_FB_2014.brinfo file - it's a kind of xml file that I can read with gedit (Linux)

Is there a way to do what I want without restoring the complete backup ( 1.7 go)
If answer is no, I will uninstall this game, because I do not want to restart it from scratch !

Okay so my device is soft bricked, I get the "Firmware encountered an issue" message, and I can only go into download mode. I'm trying to restore to a stock 4.4.2 firmware via Odin but it always fails. I realized its because my current binary is custom and it says system status is custom. Knox warrenty void: 1. Restoring apps from TW rom to CM rom (n00b q) topic

I want for the first time to install CM (5.0.1 Tamaseks rom) and can't restore apps saved from TW rom. I'm doing it with Titanium - when I restore apps+data, titanium is just restoring app indefinitely.
Am I doing something wrong or is it titanium? :confused:
