[Q] Tricking Remote Play to believe its on WiFi topic

Good morning all,

Yesterday I picked up a TMobile Sony Z3. This is the first Android device I've had since the original Motorola Droid. I've been on iPhones for quite some time.

I like this phone, but I picked it up for one main reason: Remote Play. I'm deep into the Sony Ecosystem, currently owning every Sony Video Game device. PSP, PS3, PS Vita, and a PS4. With my iPhone on Verizon's network, I used to tether my Vita to my iPhone so that I could utilize remote play on the go and away from any wifi network. Remote play functioned just fine this way when my phone was on Verizon's LTE network.

The problem I'm having with this phone, is that the remote play app will not function if it's not on a wifi network. This is an issue for me. Is there a way to trick the app into thinking it's on a wifi network? Or, possibly, is there an apk I can sideload that has this restriction removed?

Thank you for your help.

[ARTICLE] What You Believe topic

What You Believe

Hi Guys this is my first article that I posted online. Not sure if xda is exactly the right place to do this, but I am not registered in any other forum till now so :p . My idea behind writing this article two years back was to highlight the exploitation of people through religion in India. I'm not from India but I sometimes visit there. Please feel free to post your suggestions about this article. I don't really know if its even worth posting...

I have written a lot more, but still confused whether to post them or not. Please use 2nd post to quote me if want. Again I don't know if xda allows posing articles in the off topic section so if you feel this shouldn't be here please pm me.

India was given a name – “The Golden Bird” 3000 years ago and that name had lived up to its darker side. Some may ask why it was called the golden bird why not the golden tiger or a lion. Well as it stands a bird is an easy prey so was India. Earlier it was looted, destroyed and then finally bailed out by the father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi. However it has now been at the receiving end of our unthoughtful and impractical religious affairs.

We live to bridge the gap between us and the gods. But we don’t realise that he is present within us, in our every action and thought whether we realise that or not. The purpose of every religion is to stop people from dong wrong actions, however now it has been a market to sell stones, threads and statues of clay to people. People compete with each other to prove that they are more worthy of God’s acceptance but it is only their ignorance of the truth.

I never decline the presence of God but only condemn the way we see him. Every year India spend millions of dollars on festivals. Imagine what it would be like if it was spend in development, education and the empowerment of the poor. God doesn’t see how many times we preach him but how well we preach him. It is not by worshipping statues of clay that he sees us but it is by speaking the truth that we preach him. We don’t need to go to a saint to connect with him when we can see him in the souls of our loved ones.

It’s been long since we’ve been living in a world of lies but this century needs a change. There are times when we get swayed by others thought on religions but there is somebody sitting inside that very same room to help you guide through the darkness and the fear inside of your heart who is free from all the evil thoughts of man. That somebody is you. Even in darkest dream he will rise up before any saint, any religion or any spirit.

So let’s take a pledge to stop this unjust happening dividing us apart and breaking us into a million pieces. God is your faith, it is in your heart and you need no religion to help you see his light. I would like to conclude by saying step away from this darkness from this evil boundaries of religions for a sunlight awaits your presence to guide your way into the ocean. It is not what you are but what you become. It is not what you see but what you believe.
