[Q] How to connect to a non-internet wifi? topic

Morning everyone;

Probably a noob question here, but this is the situation...

I have a S4 (Tmo) with a Canon 6D camera.
Rooted with towel root.

I want to use an app (DSLR, or Canon EOS remote) to connect the phone and camera so I can control the camera with the phone.

The camera generates its own WiFi "network" that the phone can connect to.
Problem is, when I connect, the phone then automatically disconnects because my "internet is unstable".

Is there a way to set up the camera network so that the phone will just connect, and not worry about the quality, or internet connection with the WiFi?
