[ROM][Unofficial][Alpha] SlimLP preview topic







Presenting SlimLP Alpha
This is an early preview of SlimLP. Expect bugs!

Not working:
USB Mass Storage connection.


Installation:

Code:


Boot into Recovery:
Make full backup of your current ROM
Wipe everything except SDCard
Install SlimLP

Boot into Bootloader:
Flash boot.img from PC
Reboot

Should be ready after 3 minutes max.

Setup your preferences, Boot to Recovery and flash Gapps.

[ROM-AOSP] UNOFFICIAL SlimLP (5.0.2) Alpha 0.9.1 FULLY ODEXED topic






This is my personal build of SlimLP with just DEX_PREOPTED for speed and stability, also to reduce space usage in data partition.

- Download the latest build
- Download Gapps
- Take a nandroid backup
- Recommended - Full wipe and factory reset
- Flash ROM using latest TWRP recovery
- Flash Gapps
- Reboot.
- Enjoy!

- Flash ROM using TWRP recovery

- Wipe cache
- Wipe dalvik cache

SlimRoms is a custom android operating system. The main goal is to offer users a slimmed down but still feature rich alternative to other android operating systems.
The entire SlimTeam work together to bring you this tailor-made beauty straight from Android Open Source Project (AOSP) source code.
All of the sources can be publicly viewed through GitHub and you can stop by the public Gerrit to submit patches of any type.


SlimLP is currently in alpha / beta stage, some custom features are already in place, but much much more is planned for the future.
