[Q] Discussion about LG G3 android system topic

Hi to all of you. I recently did buy a LG G3 with KitKat 4.4.2. Phone is awesome, battery lasts a lot for this screen over a day and a half (medium usage), without lagginess, maybe after restart it takes about 1 second to find everything but generally i am very happy with my purchcase. I have some questions though. Recently i got a OTA update about sth vcalled 20e. Its an update ~555mb and after some search i found out that this is the Lollipop official firmware. After plugging my phone into the LG PC Suite, i found out that even a newer version is available the 20f firmware ~over 1gb. Here starts my questions. Is it worth to go from kitkat to jellybean? Or is it better to stick with kitkat until they fix all the bugs i found out on forums. (So far i saw battery doesnt last so long, wireless charging has problems, lte doesnt work on most devices, others said about lagginess, most apps do not work with the new ART system). So what are your thoughts about this? Also i want to remove some google apps like google drive, and i want to remove this McAfee. Is there any possible way to do that easily without ruining my phone?

[Q] T805 wont flash any rom "/system"??? topic

Okay my problem is im unable to flash any rom...what ive done

Was on stock firmware unrooted, connected to pc and rooted.

Then installed twrp bootlooder , then downloaded ng5 rom and tried installing through bootloader and the end string was just "/system" after 2 mins of hanging on installing rom with percentage bar.

Tried the basic rom v3 and had exact same result.

Flashed a new bootloader philz touch recovery

Did the same thing to both roms when attemt of flashing.

Other possibly related incidents... tried to enable mass storage not long after using some root app which claimed microsd card wasnt
mounted
Tried to install the avast mobile tracker rooted version and it wouldnt embed itself to the main built in rom with an error that implied it couldnt write to /system ...then tried the second option given by avast for older devices where it generates some zip that you then flash...guess what it wouldnt do that either saying make sure your sd card is mounted.

Ive verified root with two apps...my memory card is accessable and readable and im lost...am i...half rooted...is it an s-on device with nand protection??? Coz its acting like how i would image one to from my reading!!

Just really want to flash another rom and sick of being trapped with stock

Any advice would be ledgendary.

/system error topic

I am trying to mess around with my step-son's m7
I tried a wipe and reflash of the current rom he was on.
i got an error could not mount /system
i have since tried everything i know to fix the problem:
twrp recovery version 2.7.0.1 was already on it so i tried to upgrade to 2.8.3.0- that didn't work i am now on 2.8.1
i have tried to install badboyz/ rooted stock rom with the latest modified firmware/ liquidsmooth (it is the only rom that will flash and boot but i get a simcard error
any help would be appreciated.

i also tried to ruu but the program will not start on my windows 8.1 pc

[Q] system time hack for a specific app topic

Hello everyone.
Does anyone know an app or a way to specific system time for a single app but leave the real system time untouched, so it doesn't affect other apps and the entire android system?
This is actually for my favourite game "Dota Arena" Chinese version. The game server sends out events and activities at certain time each day using chinese time zone GMT+8, I live at time zone +12. So I often receive an error when the game tells me something is happening but if fact it is not until 4-5 hours later due to time zone difference.
I am hoping that there is a hack or an app to specific system time for this game app, so I could avoid these problems without changing my real system time.
Any input would be helpful.

Go to Recovery and format all twice with TWRP recovery

Flashing back stock recovery :

Back to stock recovery, format twice

Regenereting system step :
- fastboot flash system systemo.img (From http://forum.xda-developers.com/g-wa...ooted-t2981075)

Go back to stock recovery, Choose apply update from ADB (adb sideload)
- adb sideload 149e0c34d0ab10d3e356d6301915dcc04552d9db.signed-lenok-LWX48P-from-KNX01R.149e0c34.zip (From http://android.clients.google.com/pa...R.149e0c34.zip)
Reboot system now. Choose langage, etc.

Pushing SU, autorize adb debug on the watch
- adb push supersu.zip /sdcard/su.zip
- adb reboot bootloader
- fastboot flash system system.img (from http://forum.xda-developers.com/g-wa...ooted-t2981075)
- fastboot flash recovery twrp.img

Restart watch and go to TWRP recovery, install/flash su.zip from sdcard

[Q] "System Software Not Authorized By Verizon Wireless" topic

Hello, from some what site, I heard that Safestrap 3.75 allowed to install Cyanogen Mod. I installed Safestrap 3.75, made a back up, and installed a nightly version from Cyanogen Mod

After installing CM from safestrap and rebooting, I got the yellow sign with "System Software Not Authorized By Verizon Wireless". I couldn't even go back to Safestrap to restore back. I used the NC5 build rooted with Towelroot.
From some websites, I found that I could just flash the stock firmware using Odin but even installing the correct "I545VZWFNC5" md5 file, I get an error saying
"Can't open the specified file. (line 1949)"

Is there a way I could apply my back up made using safestrap or just clean wipe my phone so that I can make my phone functioning? Thanks!
