If your running a custom aosp based rom on your Xiaomi mi3 you can install the remote play app and play your ps4 on local Wi-Fi and over internet or LTE. Problems with internet and LTE on android 5.0+ at the moment. Not sure if this works on miui os if you try it on miui please post results for other users.
