Achieve super fast typing and editing with the assistance of your voice! Voice Typing Keyboard lets you input and edit any text field on your Android device with your voice. Simply say "Listen" and then start to speak what you would like to input in a text field. You can revise the voice recognition result with your voice too by, for example, saying "Left" or "Right" to move the cursor around; and saying "Delete" or "Erase" to get rid of any character or word. You can spell out letters of words, and insert commonly used symbols with your voice as well. Voice Typing Keyboard also includes a conventional on-screen keyboard in case you need it.
Key Features:
- Input text with either normal speech or word spelling
- Insert commonly used symbols with voice
- Move cursors freely in a text field with voice
- Erase/insert/revise freely in a text field with voice
- Include an on-screen soft keyboard (four rows in portrait mode and two rows in landscape mode) that can be hidden with voice
Voice Typing Keyboard currently supports US English only.
Help Info:
While you can freely say any voice commands listed below at any time, a typical flow of using Voice Typing Keyboard to input text is as follows:
1) When in any text field on your Android device, say "Listen", then after the beep, speak the text you would like to input. (You can say the other dictation command "Spelling" instead of "Listen" if you would like to spell out letters of a word)
2) Check the text shown in the text field,
2a) if there is no error, HURRAY!
2b) if there are errors, you can say cursor commands to move cursor to the error, then say erasure commands, or insertion commands or dictation commands to revise the text. Once all errors are corrected, you can say cursor commands to move to the end of the text
3) you can say an insertion command to insert a symbol, or space, or happy face, etc. and say "Listen" or "Spelling" again if you would like to input more text
4) once you are done with this text field, say "Enter" to commit or move to the next field if you wish
