Can I install custom rom - aospa, etc... topic

I've been digging through Google and xda the past few hours' and long story short, I'd like to know if I can install aospa legacy as my rom. I know they have an s4 version, and I'm rooted + safe strapped. My s3 was lost/stolen, and I'm using my dad's s4 because he just upgraded. This is all very new and weird for me compared to the ease of the custom rom world on my s3/having cwm.
