I feel like an idiot for not knowing this, but I can't figure it out and it's killing me. A google search and xda search didn't help me either.
I have a pair of LG bluetooth headphones that I use a lot, as well as this Scosche adapter that I use at night to play music.
My question is, is it possible to just choose to play through the headphones instead of the Scosche when both are in range and have been paired? Right now if I have both devices paired and I try to connect to my headphones at home the Scosche takes over as soon as I turn my bluetooth on. And I can't find any way to switch to the headphones. The only way I can connect to my headphones if I'm in my house is to forget the Scocshe, which means I have to completely re-pair it every time I want to use it. This really gets on my nerves.
I've tried clicking on the Scosche and unchecking "Media audio", but this doesn't work well, for some reason I get a crazy beeping noise coming from my stereo.
I'm on a stock, rooted Nexus 5 running 5.0.1 if that matters.
Any help would be much appreciated!
